I'm visiting Mike Robbins @ Ringgold Motor Co tomorrow. My ride is running HOT. Stays at about 225.

Going to:
-power flush and fill the collant system.
-new 180 thermostat (Roe Racing)
-replacing intake gaskets (Roe Racing)
-adding red-line water wetter
-elc (Prestone) coolant with distilled water
-new radiator cap

I hope this solves the problem. Does anyone have any other suggestions/ recommendations. :D

BTW what is the normal operating temperature?

My 94 RT was running really hot as well. Even running on the interstate when the temp was 85 and my speedo even higher  I was still at or above 225. I had Snake Oyl do everything you did, except the gaskets, and they also put in an aluminum 3 core radiator. What a difference! Got 20 to 30 degrees out of my system and a lot cooler in the cockpit. I would get a new radiator as well, you will not be dissapointed. They put in a 170 degree thermostat in mine as well, not a 180. Good luck. :D Regarding the operating temp. I hear that it is normal for the early cars to run warm even hot, I guess it was a way for the cars to pass emissions testing.
