Looks GREAT.
-Did the stripes line up properly?
-Paint color match?
-Did the cowl come w/ the rubber strip?
-Ease of installation?
-Cost?

"Does the hood rub?"- There are adjustments in the brackets that support the hood... up near the windshield. This will take the hood off the cowl slightly and help with any chaffing problems.

No Hood rub, stripes line up fine.

Did you say you wanted to sell me a Indy Poster, Michael?

Very nice!! What hood pad is that?

I know the cowls can be ordered painted, did you go that route? If so, how is the finish on the paint, blue match?

I've seen V10 Mojo's vented painted cowl in person and it looks quite nice, interested in getting one myself, but don't see it on the autoformgroup.com website...info please, including cost!

I ordered mine from JonB, in factory red, black vents and without the silver stripes. My local paint and body did the rest of the work--lined up and painted the stripes, added clear coated, and baked it too--the whole nine yards. It looks great, and it's practical too as it does vent some of the under-hood heat. As someone previously posted, it does add length to your hood-line...It's a nice touch and adds a nice dimension to the car. I'm really glad I did it.

JWVIPER, I'll take some pictures for you if you'd like. Unfortunately, I have never tried to post a picture on this page before...however, tomorrow I will give it a try as I have a lot of free time.

looks excellent. anyone who has one notice decreased cabin heat as a result?

I have been told of heat increases in an open RT/10 due to the heat sucking in around the windshield as it exhausts from the engine bay. Any RT/10's with the vented cowl care to speak to this. I like the idea of exhausting heat, but wouldn't care for increased cabin temperature with some engine smells tempered in.

$395.00 plus shipping, stripes lined up perfect, paint also matched, you can pick your vent colors also.
