As my user name implies, just purchased 99 GTS in Blk w/9800 miles...
this car makes my previous vettes (4 of em) seem slow...ordered the
smooth tubes & filters from Roe, hope that was a good move :2tu:

any other advice welcomed !! :D

I have began to think of Vettes as training wheels for future Viper owners.

Welcome to the dark side :) :)

Since this is you first post we will cut you some slack but WHERE ARE THE PICTURES????

Congratulations!

Welcome! You'll quickly notice that it starts with smooth tubes/filters....then comes exhaust....then a supercharger....and finally a small bank account balance and a car that scares the neighbors cat! Any ways, I digress. Have fun!

Smooth tubes and filters are a good move. You need filters anyway and the tubes look cool.
I have both.

It will perhaps give you a handful of hp at high rpm.

Just don't expect to feel any difference.

How come all the vette guys say something different? Is it because they've never driven a viper? ?

Just give me your bank account numbers and credit card numbers and in short time you will be well on your way. After that we'll start on the good stuff. :headbang: :headbang: :2tu:

Welcome to the club ...will your old Vette friends still talk to you? Roe has a nice shinny box that goes in place of your intake ....that is a nice addition too...maybe in the future.... after recouping from the car purchase.

X: Great start, and a great car. Look into a Corsa exhaust and let the good times roll. I have a 67 RS Camaro, and have owned several Chevy muscle cars, so You can be a Bowtie-Guy on the side also. Join the VCA it's cheap fun.

You Vette friends are sooo jealous of you right now! :p

Congrats!! And welcome! :usa:

Did the same thing early this year. Vette people mostly won't speak to me anymore. Pretty funny really.

I should have taken a clue when the local club sent so much money to the Corvette Mausoleum in Bowling Green every chance they got!
