supposedly he was wearing one of those g force restraints, but not confirmed, there has been rumors & innuendo so Ill refrain from comment until the official word is out. maybee loose belts who knows. The good news is that he will fully recover. The loose helmet strap cut the atery too.. A lot of guys watch the nascar guys driving without gloves & stuff like that & think it will never happen to them.
I was wearing my Hutchinson Device in my crash & it kept me out of the roll bar.The impact lifted the car enough that the tires came through the windshield. All I had was a tug on the jewels & was good to go. My helmet will rest against the roll cage padding by the door & I am sure it will give you a good bell ringing in a big one. Might invest in the helmet guard for the seat next. Sh@# happens, but you need to be prepared. This looked like a real light hit. I thought he would refire it & keep going.
