Weird GTS Rim Combo

Hey guys,

Just found this pic, I've never seen Gen 1 rims on a GTS!
Anyone else ever seen this?

Looks like a set of track wheels/tires.

The tires look like slicks so I would say someone put them on for racing. Besides, I can't imagine why anyone would want that look all the time.

That's definitely set up for tracking with the centercaps removed and racing tires. I think it looks kinda badazz but by no means do I agree with our resident cheesebrain who's head is frozen in a 10-foot snowbank. They are kinda bad-to-the-bone in this pic, but not always.

I use the same combo on my GTS when I go to the track.

I have seen this before. Ever watch the TV show Viper? The last season they had a blue GTS with a set of chrome Gen I wheels on it. It looks VERY VERY good.
