Wheels and tires for 2001 rt10

I need to replace my rims and tires on my Viper. Any connections for replacement or upgrades? What is the best tires to go with?

John B. at ViperPartsRack.com at 360-837-3937 has a couple of if options you're willing to go to an 18 or 19 inch wheel. I am trying to stay with the stock 17" wheels on my recently acquired '94 RT/10 which has the original tires and 13K miles. Michelin tells me they do not have a production date on the stock size for a '94 - not sure if this is the same size tire on a 2001. In looking a tire size chart the closest size I have found is a 315/35-17 but the tire is 3/4" narrower than the stock size 335s. Am looking on the Viper site to see if anyone else has gone to the narrower 315s and if it even works. If you see any posts that I've missed I would appreciate hearing back.
