Does the oil cooler always have oil flowing through it?

Guess what? It doesn't. When the air conditioner is on, a valve bypasses the oil cooler, in order to maintain optimal condenser performance. Driving on the track with the A/C on isn't in the best interests of keeping the oil cool.
