    Clutch pedal adjustment

    Not to steal your thread, however I have what I believe to be a worn out clutch bushing(s). Can anyone give me a tip or two on changing, fabricating new, and switching to Aluminum or another type of pedal(s)?? thanks, Mike

    Serpentine Belt

    Serpentine Belt

    Replacing Belt due to stress cracks. GoodYear apparently makes a belt that is 3/10 inch longer than OE belt. Priced comparable at about 45 bucks. Any strong recommendations either way??/ 93 w/o air. thanks, Mike

    Chipping around cylinder sleeves

    Rocket62 thanks for the reply. no pics yet, I may get some taken before the heads are back on. Apparently the damage is done by not being so careful when pressing of pounding the sleeves back in place. Also, if you please, sounds like there is an aftermarket upgraded sandwiched head gasket...

    Chipping around cylinder sleeves

    quick question??? I am doing some basic maintenance on 93. Once heads off..there is, what looks like some metal "'chipping" around the cylinder sleeves in the alum. block....any ideas on how this happens??/ is it an assembly consequence...? This is a 92 carry over car....also..black. Hand...

    Has anyone had a slave cylinder break?

    yup, I just had the same experience. New slave ordered in with clutch assembly from Archer Racing. The slave began to leak immediately upon hooking up the quick disconnect hydraulic line from the master. Upon disassembly, found that the new part was cracked concentric to the tranny shaft...

    thanks for your responses. I hear about aluminum flywheels, clutches that can handle hp upgrades, etc. just trying to leverage off all the knowledge in the VCA rather than make an obvious mistake. Could you guys recommend brand names, parts, advantages of new vs used, prices??? thanks again...
