High RPM Driveline rattle

Yea I have it up in the air now on jacks,my ujoints feel tight. Mounts look ok from what I can see, I am going to bring it in to a viper tech to put in 3.55's so when he takes the diff out I think we will see better if anything else is loose.- mdurbahn

High RPM Driveline rattle
When driving my car aggressively I just started to get a bad noise at high rpms over about 3500. Sounds like a rattle coming frome transmission/engine area. It doesn't happen when I am in nuetral though so I have ruled out and engine problem. I think it maybe the clutch pilot bushing/tob...- mdurbahn

2000 mile drive showed some problems
It was a great trip, we went from Denver to Tuscan, AZ and back. 2 vipers, 2 vettes, 1 gallardo, 1 lotus, 1 m3. Vipers got the best fuel economy of the group, 22 mpg. Thanks, I dug into this a little more and put the car up on jacks. My ujoints do feel tight. A torn mount sounds like a...- mdurbahn

2000 mile drive showed some problems
1. I just drove my 96 gts on a 2,000 mile trip of hard driving through the desert. I checked the oil periodically and it was always good until I got home now I see it is 2 quarts low and it looks like it could have been coming from the top of the dip stick maybe. Is this a common issue...- mdurbahn

I had a code come up last weekend, left bank lean on 96 gts. I recently took the cats off, but I read on the internet the 02's don't needs sims on 96's. Is that true? I am trying to figure out if the 02 sensor is bad or if me having nots cats is causing the intermitent cel. Do you have to...- mdurbahn

how do does your stock gen II run?
ah ok, I checked after I had my new fluid in and the heater does work well. If it is nice today I am going to see if the flush changed the operating temp at all. Everything that came out looked new and clean still.- mdurbahn

96. Oil is new, looks good. Heater and coolant level are ok, so I am going to flush it today and put in a new t stat if I can find that cooler one at the parts store.- mdurbahn

how do does your stock gen II run?
I will try to burp it. What temp is the hash mark before 240? When I cruise in 5th and 6th its around 190 but if I am in stop and go or cruise at 4th or something it bounces between 190 and that hash mark.- mdurbahn
