First, when you buy a swinging arm oil pickup, is the comp Coupe pan required with it or can you use the stock pan? I had this installed early 06 but now not sure if I bought the pan and pickup or just the pickup.
Does a new Comp Coupe pan have a weld in the middle of it? when installing S/S...
Hey Joe,
I'm in tampa and have this exhaust. Didnt get it installed locally but I can tell you that if you do, I'm pretty convinced you need to have it tack welded.
I've reset mine 3 times now. the clamps that come with it are insufficient.
I'm actually bringing my car to Orlando for some...
Anyone have experience using this product? supposed to soften the tires to make them last longer. bought Hoosiers new. put only 6 heat cycles on them and then they sat for 5 months. Next session out they're like being on ice.
Actually they finally got stickier on the 9th heat cycle. Plenty of...

Is there a way to keep it in place short of welding it?

I had an autoform installed by a well respected company who everyone is familiar with. It doesnt fit and so far, they have been unwilling to do anything to remedy the situation. The top crossbars hit with the top up.
If you use Autoform, you better be sure yours has proper clearance before you...
Looked at adjusting the bar on the softtop. there is some play there but in mine, it was already adjusted to give the max height of the bar. Back to square one. Not a happy situation. Unless someone has another suggestion, it looks like the car has to come apart again and the bar reinstalled...
Chuck,
Thanks for the input. It was installed by a well known and respected Viper shop who says they did nothing wrong and all they will do is give me my money back if I take it out and send it back to them (in another state). Gonna call Tony from Autoform per his suggestion and see what he has...
Anyone else have this problem?
Only hits on the Drivers side. I can close the top but unless
I put some kind of soft spacer, the bar and top will rub hard.
This can't be right.
