Subtle Snakeskin Stripes on SSG ACR

I also ordered the 2 piece 67" and the front splitter didn't clear the front bumper. I had custom ramps made (they do them all the time) and basically started with the standard 67" but made the top level part that the wheel sits on longer and also lowered the front bumper of the ramps from 3"...

Subtle Snakeskin Stripes on SSG ACR

Agree with everything you said. If you have an ACR (with black front splitter and canard) they blend in nicely, especially with black stripes. If you don't have an ACR I'm not totally convinced I would have gotten them as they may have been distracting. That's a personal taste thing. They have...

Subtle Snakeskin Stripes on SSG ACR

5th Dimension has painted so many Vipers that they came up with a way to paint the ACR symbol wherever you want one.

Subtle Snakeskin Stripes on SSG ACR

Thought about that but my wife and I agreed to leave it alone for now.

Subtle Snakeskin Stripes on SSG ACR

I thought I would finally share some pictures of my snakeskin pattern stripes on my 2010 SSG ACR after having the car for a year. Thank you to all the previous forum posters here who helped me with their ideas and pictures. Also, thank you to those who directly helped me with my Viper dream...

Gen 4 FULL Belanger set up. Opinions?

I have this exact setup and love it. Only 1,200 miles on it so far but no issues. Low tone and loud, but not obnoxious unless you get into it. Still get the decel pop but it's rare.

How to buy a used Jeep Cherokee SRT8

Love my 2010 Jeep GC SRT8. I've had no problems with snow or ice. It's not the absolute best vehicle in those conditions by any means but it handles better than other front wheel drive cars I've had. Super quick from a dead start. Loses some punch (but still very fast) as the speed increases...

45% of men would like to drive a race car before they die -- we do it all the time!

    Interesting USA Today stats: USA TODAY Snapshots - USATODAY.com Drive a race car = 34% (men and women) Ride a motorcycle = 29% Sky-dive = 28% Run a marathon = 23% Bungee jump = 18% So, does driving a Viper = no regrets!? :D Personally, I've ridden a motorcycle, I've sky-dived...

    Woodhouse makes a splash!

Are those PartsRack carbon fiber stone guards behind the front wheels? Any more pics of this product from another angle or two? Love the ACR vert by the way!

    2 posts lifts--should I worry?

There are a couple four post lifts out there that are wide enough to hold two cars on top (and then two can park underneath). Not sure if that would help your space problem since it eliminates having a post in the middle of a two stall garage.

Pilot Sport Cups, Side Sill Protection, and Paint Protection Spray

Anyone use or hear of paint protection spray? I'm only looking at this for the side sills, not the front fascia or anywhere else. ACRs comes with Pilot Sport Cups from the factory. It's my first set (<100 miles on them) so I don't know how many miles they might last. Any pics from different...

Pilot Sport Cups, Side Sill Protection, and Paint Protection Spray

Just how bad do the ACR's Pilot Sport Cups tear up the side sills? Has anyone used several coats of a paint protection spray on the bottom of the sills and right behind the front tires? A trusted auto body guy/painter (who has painted dozens of Vipers) has a spray he has used that he thinks...

Any more pics than just this latest one? From many angles and distances?

    5yr/100k Powertrain Warranty on 2010's

Just bought a '10 and I've been told it has the 5yr/100k. It's on the sticker, too, just like the picture above. The dealer (who sells many, many Vipers every year) hadn't heard about this change -- it just showed up on the sticker of the new '10s coming to his dealership. He made a call to...

Any opinions on a "freestanding" lift like this?

The lift in the first picture (two posts with a platform that rises) is maybe $4,000-$4,500. A solid 4-post lift is probably $2,500 - $3,500. The one posts, like treesnake said, are maybe $5,000 - $6,000. Most (all?) of these lifts can be installed by a professional for $500+. There...
