    0W40 Mobil 1 oil change.

    I would stick with the factory fill recommendations. However, Mercedes told me to change the Mobil 1 ever 10,000 miles or two years, whichever comes first. The viper says every 3 months or 3,000 miles which, as you know, can get expensive. I don't know if the manufacturers are in bed together or...

    I have some check engine codes

    That is a tough one. Do you have a DRB III? Possible causes could be 02 Sensor above 1.5 volts, sensor signal shorted to voltage, sensor signal circuit open, sensor signal circuit shorted to 02 heater supply circuit, sensor ground circuit open, sensor heater control circuit open. Good luck!

    I found the information on Page O-4 Lubrication and Maintnance in my "Service Manual" Capacity of Differential including additive = 1.35L (45 oz) :)
