I never watched exactly how much the stick actually moves and flexes while I am driving. Eyes on the road and all, but I don't think it is much more then 1/2 inch if that. I could be wrong though.
I know it would help me with those quick 2nd to 3rd shifts. I have a hard time not going into...
The flat black does give it a more agressive look, and definately a good rim choice with that color.
Mean looking ride. I like it!
Could use a size bigger rear tire. Would fill in the rear wheel wells a little better.
If only I had a Ferrari! I didn't think about how much the trans flexes under load. That could cause alot of concern and probable end the idea right off the bat.
Darn it. Gotta admit that it would look pretty sweet though.
Is a gated shifter even possible on our cars?
Has anyone tried this? Is there enough space between the gears to have one?
I am thinking that it would be very cool to fabricate one if it is possible that is.

Oh, before Plum comes on whit his...
Wow, let's not welcome any feedback from non viper owners at all.
If everyone is so completely happy with every aspect of their current viper then maybe dodge doesn't need to make a gen V.
Or better yet, they can put all that above mentioned into the new gen and everyone who doesn't want it...
I know I bought mine strictly for the looks, speed came second. Vipers are not the fastest car out there, but they are one of the most beautiful in MHO. I have nothing aginst tracking your car since it is YOUR CAR, and I am sure I will see a little track time with mine (very little), but This...
To get the most beautiful smokey burnouts, use bleech in a spray bottle on an area about 1 to 2 feet infront of the rear tires. It makes the pavement slick so its easier to get em turning and the smoke just rolls out from under the tires. Plus it not as damaging to the rubber. Don't use to...
Not trying to hijack this but since we talking about door cills, does anyone have just plain stainless steel cills?
No viper logo or emblem. Want to do a custom set and it would be easier to pick some up preformed and cut to fit.
Their mechanics are at the shop across the street and seemed like a nice kid when I spoke to one of them. He had to replace the passanger side window switch on mine.
Not a viper tech though! So your going to want to bring one with you or take it to one.
From all that I've been reading about...
I bought mine from them in late Febuary. It was a trade in that hadn't even made it onto their web site yet. Dealer was super friendly and down to earth, but I am now getting ticked off because the title still hasn't made it to the secretary of state yet and I have a set of vanity plates on...
Now that is the best statement I've heard yet when it come to modding a car. Let the armchair judges say what they like.
Maybe "Ricer" = Modder. Then we can be proud to be caller ricers,
or maybe it should just be reserved for those extreme cases of poor choice by car owners.
I am saving up for a security system from OBS called the mobile watchman that records everything that goes on around and inside the car. Nothing is harder to dispute than a video recording.
If you pair this up with a mobile GPS locator that gives real time data over a cellular network, then...
She is definately a beauty. As are all vipers, but the GTS blues just grab my soul.
Wish I would have gotten some pics of the late comers cars, but was too cold and dark to care that much.
