I daily drove my 1996 RT.... black w/silver stripes... great Viper! It is a bit challenging as a daily driver but I did it for a number of years in Jacksonville Florida. I would recommend finding a three-piece trunk top... makes carrying the top with you for afternoon showers an easier...
One difference.... the Ometer one they said they would include North America maps and a 2GB SD card.... are those two items worth an additional $60 or so?
I had him send me pictures of the actual unit...I cannot seem to upload pix right now.... but the front and back look exactly like the pictures you posted...the back is even the billet looking aluminum with the RC jacks in the backplate.....

So what company actually manufactures this radio? Did you have to cut the inner dash support on your install? It does not look like you had to trim it? I looked on the site you reference and could not find this radio.......
Yes this is great news.... but why is SRT so intent on taking care of a simple wheel paint chipping issue, but they ignore the window regulator issue? So let's take care of the few 1:33 owners with a cosmetic issue..... and the rest of the Gen 3 & 4 owners have a "ticking timebomb" window...
