    I fill it up at the end of every drive on the road no matter what. I like to jump in and take off on a full tank no worries. On a road trip 1/4 is the sign to get gas. Your fuel pump will thank you. GTS Bruce

    In Ontario you get sniff tested so you will need cats for the test. I had Viper Specialty (Bflo,NY) creat an easy in and out system using v clamps with straight pipe or high flows depending on needed. GTS Bruce

    Dodge viper top gear excert

    The corvette gt1 and 2 do NOT use the traverse rear leaf spring. They use coils to improve handling due to the leaf set up causing too much disturbance to be transmitted. GTS Bruce

    POP vs Instant On

    I have a v1 and think the laser gunners are useless except at night. They stand out in the open and point and you can see them a mile away. Its never a problem if there is some traffic up ahead radar or laser. If you're the only one out on the road at night better slow down. GTS Bruce

    Go with the lower stat and have someone like DC reprogram your computer to turn the fans on sooner,change af etc. GTS BRuce

    3,4,5,6,8,10,12. They all sound different. A 10 will never sound like an 8 or 12. We know you are dying to mod and the stock exhaust sound sux. Save your money until you can do it right. Get a Corsa from jon b with high flow cats. Headers? Easy in/out HF cats? Cat syms? Wait until you can do it...

    The parts to be added/modified are oreca/zakspeed used on gen 2 vipersand they really work. Gen 3 badge on a gen VIPER? Might as well put a Fiat sticker on a gen 3-4 car. Anyway I don't have pics. See the autoform site or partsrack. Bruce

    Catless Exhaust Smog Issues?

    I have had cats in and out. Depending on year you will need syms. It will not pass a sniff test. This winter I am having the cat section v banded as well as a same length pice of stainless by viper specialty. Easy in and easy out. GTS Bruce

    Is there a better water pump to install?

    Caution. Rebuilt VS remanufactured. Rebuilt means simply fixed the defective issue. Reman means totaly gone through and brought up to oem new specs. Rebuilt means make the sign of the cross over it and hope it gets you out of the parking lot before another aspect fails. GTS Bruce

    Value of a Hennessey Viper 1000, 2006

    The car might be worth something. Probably less than a bone stock pristine car. Then again it might be completely worthless with a hacked up frame to allow tubing to be routed. Needs to be taken for a drive,put on a lift, run on a dyno.......GTS Bruce

    Stainless Steel Hex Cap Bolts - Change???

    Lots of corroding hardware on our cars. Why not just clean them up and either clear or black them on your car?A clean up and paint is easy and cheap and it doesn't look RICER. GTS Bruce
