2003-2006 8.3L Viper V10s - Red light @ 5800 - Fuel Cut @ 6,100 rpm
There is a 400 rpm shutdown band once you hit the limiter... which means once you hit the limiter the speed has to fall below 5,700 before it re-fuels.
Do the three key to pull the engine code, it will help us help you...
Key On-Off-On-Off-On (over a period of time similar to saying the On-offs slowly) and wait a bit to see the odometer display the codes. When you get the timing of the key up/down right you'll see PXXXX followed by other...
You need to drive for a bit once you've set the pressures. The transmitters only sample pressure while the tires are rotating at speeds over about 35-40 mph. If you are only going around your block the light won't go out. Drive it a bit and the light should definitely extingush if the...
You can read the codes directly off the dash with the "three-key" method. Why buy a scanner...?
Turn key on-off-on-off-leave on.... works from 2003 through the 2008s. The codes will show in sequence such as "PXXXX" and finishes by showing "done". If there are no codes the dash will still...
The amp is still on the passenger side, but there is now (for 2008) a bracket and module under the drivers seat as well. It is called a "Gateway" module. Probably have to relocate it if you are trying to lower the driver side seat.
I would hope that most will drive the ACR as much as possible... this is good two ways, one folks actually get to enjoy their cars, and two - the one or two people that bubble store their near zero mile cars for 30 years will only make money if everyone else USES theirs. That how the prices on...
Bob Soroka was the painter, and as he has a paint shop at Kustom Haus Ltd - Kustom Paint & Fabrication I'd write him if you want paint code info, etc... He is a great guy, and has done a lot of wonderful work. Including a lot of charity work for United Way... remember the Green 2008 hood that...
PCM has very little to do with brake lights...
I'd check your brake switch... and the wiring going to it... it could be getting tangled with the clutch pedal or something else on the pedal sled if the "edge-biter" clips weren't seated properly.
The brake wiring is very simple... it comes...
Another big reason for 3.07's was to ensure that 0-60 would be a one gear event... That is what the magazine push so hard as a "core" measure of performance. With 3.55's you have to shift to do your 0-60.
Don't forget the "hip-check" part of using the external key hole. basically make sure you push in on the door as you turn the key... otherwise the force required is nearly enough to break the key off in the cylinder.
So use your right hip into the door near the entry handle, and your left...
Who says no chassis changes??? New tires, New shock valving, and new alignment specs... The 2008 is Gen IV. It was called Gen IV at the VCA - Viper Powertrain Engineering presentations... by the Chrysler Guys.
20% power bump, three/two syncro trans, new diff... plus a 300+ day downtime to...
I'd check the AIS motor... if it is sticking or otherwise FUBAR'd it will mess your idle... the reason it idles better warm is that the engine doesn't need as much air to idle warm as it does cold.
Bascially, the engine should be able to idle at about 450rpm even if you plug the AIS feed...
That sure would be nice, but the system is quite old in fact, and can only work with one set of tires at a time. You can place a set of rims on your car without getting a tire light as long as you return to your monitored set within I think 7 key cycles. Of course the light also clears once...
It takes about 5 minutes at the dealer... You need the DRB III tool to put the Tire pressure box into learn mode. You then use a little doughnut shaped magnet around each tires stem starting with the left front and ending at the left rear (going round the car in a circle). The horn will sound...

Sparticuz,
You can replace the cluster and sidepod with canadian kilo units if you want. The cars original mileage is not changed that way... it will however report out in km instead of mi. Keep the US cluster and side guages if you want to sell back into the US. The mileage would be...
I'd put an inductive ammeter on the car and then watch the draw... even if the door module was staying awake while parked it should never pull enough current to draw down a healthy battery during a car show.
What you then do is start pulling fuses one at a time until you find the circuit that...
The Mopar Race Controller only develops more power in concert with the cam and the exhaust. (A 5hp increase seen on a chassis dyno could just be testing variation)
The controller alone possibly will lose you power as it runs more fuel to the engine at WOT conditions. Which is needed when you...
I would check your fuel pressure (should be ~55psi), and check your plugs to make sure you haven't fouled them. It could have been bad gas that started the problem, but then continuing to run it poorly could have done further damage.
If you can't run over a certain speed it will take a while...
It does if the skipshift mod was shorting the switched ignition circuit to ground... or if the skip's internal resistor is a full short. It'll knock down all the modules you are mentioning.
Just as an FYI, the SRT-4 stage kits also render the car "off-road use only", and it is due to emissions systems non-compliance...
As the Viper cam/exhaust/controller kit eliminates the catalysts, and is fuel tuned for go, not shed tests it too becomes "race" only.
That wouldn't be the only issue... The immobilizer would stop the engine from running as well. Unless of course you leave your car lying around unlocked.
