I noticed that my tag mysteriously changed color a few days ago??? Conspiracy.
Quick look at the User CP doesn't reveal how to switch it back to the faster color... any help?

What about a racing seat? Sparco (for instance) makes a wide variety of "street" seats and they're not like all the "shoehorn your ass in" type. Might be wise to wait for the Gen V... but I doubt there's gonna be THAT much more room. And you'd probably have to wait for someone to fab up a...
...thought I'd come back to a couple of my old "help!" threads and post up the final solution/outcome.
Valaya Racing (San Jose) installed a Snake Oyl 2" seat lowering kit in my '09 ACR coupe and it's fantastic! The seat is immobile now, but I'm the only one that drives this car anyway...
It's good info to collect, I agree. As pins get added, it looks like the population info (density) will become harder to evaluate... anyone volunteer to generate something like a "heat map" graphic overlay? Or 3D transform?
Out-of-the-blue guesstimate: 75% of eventual VOI attendees are...
I'll echo the request for a .pdf of that Viper Mag article... or a link to this back issue. Hell, I'll buy one off somebody if it's a more expansive guide to track setup for the Gen IV ACR.

Great meeting you all; just wished I could've released myself from work a couple hours earlier. Driving and then immersing myself in Viper for a few hours cured me of all the day's tensions and I went home with a grin. And an eye on my six as traffic cleared out on 101...

OK, I tried a search...
Has anyone made/marketed little heat extractor covers for use when washing the hood? I washed my '09 last week and wasn't too thrilled about dousing the engine compartment...
Thanks in advance for any help,
Rich
Well, I'll admit to some curiosity about why the heck someone would name a car a Donkervoort, in any language.
And after seeing those pics... makes perfect sense.
Vegas rocks. You can easily build a larger vacation around the VOI event, and that's appealing to many (and to many spouses)...
Weather dependability is extremely high. Nearby tracks @ LVMS and Spring Mountain. Roughly a trillion hotel rooms, many choices for host venue.
Bang.
Exclusivity has a lot to do with Viper ownership. I dunno if this is some deep-seeded "gotta be different" neurosis that I have, but when it came down to my own choice... there's nothing like the Viper. And that's mirrored by the driving experience: it came down to Viper ACR vs. Nissan GT-R...
Swapping to your new wheels with PS2s and selling the ACR wheels with their Sport Cups would be one thing to try. So, ummm... where are you located :)
Shocks are dual-adjustable, but as mentioned that's still gonna be on the same (stiffer ACR) springs.
Wonder where the numbers came from... I thought 2009 Viper production was 706 total? Must be the "USA-specific sales" designation that's responsible, although I would be surprised to find that only 68% of '09 Vipers were sold domestically.
I love that pie chart. It's the reason most of us...
Exactly. It's widely (near universally) used for watercraft, as many are summer-only and have to suffer long storage periods. I use StaBil in my boat and my WaveRunners... conventional wisdom is to treat and keep a full tank when you're storing the vehicle, to minimize condensation from dead air.
There's no need for it in your case. You have a (mostly) stock car and you're not pushing it. Use the recommended octane from the pump (insert argument over "best gas" vendor here). One thing you can do, if you're storing the car for more than a month or so, is add some Stabil to your gas...
This can occur if you have a charger that has multiple settings. For example, full charging of an (AGM) Optima Yellow I own only occurs if I tell the charger it's an AGM battery... otherwise, it will charge to something like 70% and stop. Just an idea...
My shipping envelope was partially torn open, but contents were fine.
This is my first Viper mag and I'm enjoying it... except to see that Jeff Dunham is driving my car. D'oh! For the mag itself, I see good content, high quality materials, nice photography and printwork... well done.
And...
