That's not suprising. These cars take a lot of juice and if your battery is low even a jump from a "normal" car may not be enough.

I would think most of the parts would be just as cheep to buy them from one of the salvage places as try to rebuild them anyway. Looks like a fun project.

I let my wife drive once. She put it in gear, eased out the clutch and went about a foot before I yelled, STOP!!! I made her get out and I never let her try again. The whole incident was just too much for me. lol
Yeah, I would guess bumper was repaired or repainted and the shop put them back in the wrong spot. I had my side sills repainted and the shop put the decals below the line instead of above. I made them fix it of course.
