The only way that you "win" is that you shrug it off as only an object and that it means nothing to you to get it repainted. Otherwise, the perp gets exactly what they were going for.
Unfortunately, that is probably impossible for you to do.
Well, it sounds like you do not have sufficient crankcase ventilation, for the condition of your engine. The first thing that I would suggest checking is the PCV valve to see that it is working and see that your crankcase ventilation lines are where they should be and not capped off. Or if...
Ouch !!!!!!!!!! I would call the 3 main guys that are known to deal in used parts if this was not going to be paid for by insurance. You still would be talking over 1000 USD though, I think.
Well, if you are able to safely shift the current transmission with the stock shifter without using the clutch, then you could do it also with this new shifter.
All this is is a sophisticated shifter that bolts to the top of the transmission like any other aftermarket shifter from Hurst or...
I don't remember gluing them in place; but its been 4+ years and I am an old fart. If the old lens wasn't glued or siliconed in place, I wouldn't have done anything to the new ones unless they didn't snap in place.

They look like the ones on my '02 ACR did.

I'm surprised also. I thought the number that I read was much lower than that. But, then again, my memory is crappy; and who knows about the person that posted it.
I suggest calling or emailing JonB at Partsrack . The TeamTechs that he sells are well thought of for safety and comfort. Of course there are other options; but, without the support/guidance that Jon can provide.

If one is going to mod their Viper, then the ACR is not the car to buy. I think that it still has a collectibility niche just because it is a special edition and it underlined the fact that the Viper was/is a race car for the street. Many people buy Vipers because they are rare, and ACRs...
From posts I've read elsewhere, I suspect that it would only help if you were to buy them the services of a very high quality "escort" service for a night or four. That might make them forget why they still have hurt feelings. These are very sensitive guys.
Personally, I like the one piece Forgeline VR1's that they used to sell. There was/is a set listed in the classifieds for a killer price, if they are still available.
I would like to see Free2go run for VCA President during the next elections. A win there would solve a lot of the difficulties ! :2tu:

When I was a Gen 2 Viper owner, I liked seeing those kind of ads. Now that I am a possible buyer; not so much.

Best wishes and thoughts for the occupants. It looks like it was not crushed. I think Viper rollovers are not common; but, it looks like an embankment in the background. If there is a drainage gully there also, I can imagine a scenario that would have the car doing some bad things if it went...
Here is what you were looking for. http://forums.viperclub.org/threads/569146-Shared-parts-between-Vipers-and-other-brands.?
Definitely, update it with anything that you have come up with ! The first post there only references a Mopar part # and only calls it a Jeep part. Year, make, and...
I did not disconnect the fuel line. I just used some wood blocks to hold the manifold up out of the way while replacing the t-stat and cleaning up the manifold mating surfaces. (Been so long that I don't actually remember if anything needed cleaning.)
Well, I wouldn't call a manual gearbox that you have to shift gears an "automatic"; but, that is a cool $25,000? option for the right person and application. I was talking with a club member at the track the other day who has a sequential transmission in a comp coupe. I should have asked him...
I think that you misunderstood. I was asking what made the polybushing's mounts a superior design to the Woodhouse mounts. If they are, then that is an excellent reason to buy them. That would be good information. I am not as concerned about price as I am about performance. Information is...
