Looking at your avatar.Do you have a hard top for your car? Also you must have a roll bar and some sort of head restraint system to run the Kuhmo tires if the tread wear rating is 100 or less. These are considered sticky tires and require the proper safety equipment. If you have any other questions...
The oil is comng from the timing cover gasket. This is a common issues on the early gen 2 cars. The white thing is attatched to the injector wiring harness under the intake manifold i guess to help keep it straight and not hang down into the valley area.
Go to your dealer with you registration for the car.they can use that info to cut you a new key if you don't have a key with you.The part number for the key is 5102103AA.List price for the key is 14.95.
The PCM will have the VIN in it as well as the mileage.I would make sure the VIN # matches.Once the VIN in programmed into the pcm its there for good.I have seen vipers that showed 300,000 miles in the pcm.I would not be scared of the car just because of this.
I may be making a trip to the Atlanta area at some point to fix two 96 rts that were done incorrrectly. And take care of any other needs for the folks in that area.I may be able to work you in on the trip. Not sure when it may be.I am heading to Viper Days finals in Topeka Tuesday and won't be...
No really why no ESP and Traction control.I know we don't want it to get turned into a vette but a little safer for those that need it would make sense.Considering customers are paying several thousand dollars to have it added.
Hi guys great you're here,
How come we have ESP and traction control on a 1500 Ram truck but not on the 08 viper. There are a lot of folks out there that couldn't drive 400 hp much less 600.
the 4 bolts that hold the diff in place all get tightened to 100 ft/lbs. Don't recall right off what the 2 bolts on the dog bone get tightened to.its less than 100.While your there check the bolts holding the half shafts to the diff and the hub at the wheels. These will work loose.Pay close...
I have seen the alarm module connector work loose.Try unpluging the alarm module for a few minutes then plug it back in and see what happens. The module is under the drivers side of the dash above you right leg.It is held n place by a rubber strap and has two plugs going into it.Hope this helps

If the car has never been wrecked the alignment is not that hard to do.Where the problem comes in is if the frame has been bent and changed the ride hight or bump steer.Than that is where all the special tools come in.Any good front end tech can do this.Is not rocket science.help is only a...
chad the ground that needs to be checked is on the passenger side of the engine. It runs from the area of the belt tensioner to the right side frame rail just behind the cross brace in front of the motor. If this is not tight it then uses the oil cooler lines as the ground strap.Bad things...
The heat sheild pulls right out not much holding them in on the 8.3 motor. You will most likely find a small piece of debris beside the spark plug keping the socket from going all the way down on the plug.Mos of the time you can use compressed air to blow all debris away or you may have to use a...
Check all the fuses in the pdc under the hood. There is a 20 or 25 amp mini fuse that if it is blown will give the same results.Chances of it being the clutch interlock switich are pretty slim.I have seen quite a few cars with the blown fuse.It gives no warning.
Re: Help! Starter button\'s won’t starting it.
Andrew sorry I missed your call.Check all the fuses in the fuse box under the hood.I have seen one of them blow and cause a no start.I'll try and call you on saturday and see what you found. In the mean time you should be able to push start the car...
if it is popping out of the intake you have a problem with a exhaust valve.Maybe a pushrod thrown off of the rocker.it will pop out if the intake because the combustion pressures have no where to go if the exhaust valve won't open.If you find a pushrod off of a rocker make sure you look at the...
The position sensor on the side that is working right has failed. The side that is struggling is tring to keep up with what it thinks is right based on the message from the other motor. So replace the wiper motor that seems to be working right.
