I've seen that car before. Oh wait it's in my shop:) Can't wait to see Ray run this thing. I bet he would give Ben Keating a run for his money on Viper Cub.
Yes I did. Was showing it to my son the other night and the memories it brought back.
Rumor has it Lance sold his Green gen 4 for a Green gen1 and changed his name to Mike then moved to Ohio.
Well after Moparboy compared A green owner to Lance in a thread the other day. Thought this thread needed a Bump for the new folks on the forum that missed it all when it happened.
A set of double ended ARP studs would work much better and easier to change shims for easy alignment adjustments. As well as the Alignment shim kit offered by Dodge Motorsports.
Follow it down the steering column and you will find a yellow connector unplug at the connector. It should have a couple of retaining clips holding it to the column.
What year? There was a TSB back in the day for the Gen 1 engines to install a screw in the throttle cable to lock the adjustment. The screw was like $2.00 in parts and very little labor.
All you guys with your delays. My only issue going to SLC was this bum i picked up on the way and couldn't get rid of him untill I got to Las Vegas. I think I win.
At least you get a full days drive.I only get just over 3 hours. The trip from Kansas city to salt lake was a blast. Of course except for that little melty thing you had going on:D I wont even have to stop for fuel
You wont have any long big mountains to pull this time like we did going to SLC. You should be ok. If not i'm sure we can get you fixed right up. I know where there is a nice shade tree we can work under and I got some duct tape to put things back together.
So unhook the cable from the T-bodies and see if they return correctly. If it does then start working back from there. Cable coming thru the firewall, Pedal assembly hanging up under the dash on the steering column.
Are you changing front or rear pads? And are you doing rotors also? Front pads you dont take the calipers off to install the pads only. And rears you can work around the calipers to do the pads.
Some of the monitors are picky to set. You may need to keep the fuel level between 1/4 and 3/4 of a tank. I dont think the evap monitor will not run if above or below this level. And the car may also need a overnight cool down to set the evap monitor as well.
