No, not really either.
ACR is essentially a lower top speed aero package. GT3 and GT2 have a different drivetrain. SRT-10 Coupe has the same motor as the ACR and a higher top speed, and is very competitive with a ZR1.

Lots of Gen II cheerleaders on the Gen V, most likely because it looks like a Gen II.
For many of us who purchased a Gen IV new and would consider a properly designed Gen V , we are wondering who SRT designed the Gen V for? Gen II owners (looks) ? Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo Owners? Gen IV...
I too in interested in the approximate cost. I would like doors, seats, dash, console and bulkhead, but no stripes.
Very, very nice work and great car!
Porsche 918 is $800k-$1mil isn't it?
I think earlier ZR1s had regularly spaced 5th and 6th gears. In any event, there is a new C7 ZR1 on way.
Does Gen IV (which I own) have downforce[I] at speed or just [I]reduced lift?
The winning combination on the Ring (assuming proper power and weight...
Note also that realistic prices out-the-door with base price, likely options, tax, delivery, guzzler tax, destination charges, etc. will likey be $115k-120k for SRT and $145k-$150k for the GTS.
The Gen V Viper is still a Viper [I] and that is a good thing to the existing Viper fans. However...
It will be interesting to see who steps up to actually purchase the Gen V. Not talking, but putting hard-earned money down to actually take delivery. Since I am located in SoCal, I am sure I will see many Gen Vs on the road. For now, I will enjoy my Gen IV.
Will it be the Gen II owners who...
SRT is important in that it means performance and performance bits on and design for the vehicle.
SRT as a separate brand is nothing to me other than some organizational scheme, whether accounting, tax, marketing, CAFE, etc. The vehicle is still a Dodge/Chrysler.
The important focus should...
The crank HP/TRQ of the ZRI will not be overrated--but might be underrated. GM HP is SAE verified. Now on a hot day, a FI car may experience less power than a NA car. Maybe this is what you are talking about.
In addition, while Ring times are AWESOME for general benchmarks and...
+1 Except I want more power and a price of no more than $115k. I have a '08 Coupe and am not a big fan of the look and minor improvements of the Gen V Coupe. The new C7 ZR1 (and maybe Z06) will be possible alternatives... .
Nice Gen II.
Let's have a 700hp Gen V GTS-R for the Street or just skip to Gen VI. I have seen Gen V in person and it does not "grow on me" or "look better in person". I will hold on to my Gen IV.
First went to OC Dodge and was not warm and fuzzy so I called Dodge to open a case and then went to HB Dodge. HB Dodge looks to be making some good changes so I may try them for a bit. OC Dodge was ok in the past and is also making some changes.
Props to Dodge for stepping up to handle this matter! Dodge took care of the window replacement, subject to a $100 deductable. Still not as good as no imploding window, but much better than it could have been!
Re: Someone please forward this message to Ralph Giles and the rest of the SRT Team-A

The only point I am not sure about is the "severely underrated" power point. Given the changes advertised and SAE Standard rating, I do not see this happening.
Let's hope the ACR has a lot more...
After the Dealer gave me some blow-back today on the window, I called Dodge and opened a Case. I offered to send this thread and my photos to them. They will contact me tomorrow... .:usa:
My situation is unlikely related to a window regulator or tension. I had driven from a viper event in Riverside at K&N to our friends' house in Palm Springs. It was about 93F. We cracked each windown about 1-1.5" to keep things ventilated, exited the car and went inside the house for a tour...
