    I have a set of the same TBs, but do not know the make of them. To utilize the bigger opening, it would be best to have 1.7's and maybe ported/polished intake. that said, I am selling a ported/polished G2 and G3 intake. they do work well with the Havik Performance camshaft

    VSP will surely expect your car to blow up very soon because you didn't take his idiotic advice. If you can take pictures and post them up, it will help other Gen 3 guys fix a known issue without having VSP steer them to spending a buttload of money with his great advice.

    So the key here is the 96/97 is a very limited number(Smooth, no texture). Even worse if you had a 1997 RT, one year only(No rear window defroster, smooth).     Fast Dan is correct, If the battery is low, it can cause issues. Put it on a charger and get it back to 100%. At the same time, reset the PCM to clear any issues. If you do need a new IAC, I have a few for sale.
