Looking for a Gen1

Power steering troubles
I have had numerous issues with the replacement line fitting being defective. The hose pops out under high pressure, usually when hot at full crank. Driver outside door button on GTS
This a really common issue on the 1996-2002 cars. The door wiring harness is no longer available. Best to replace, all the wires in the area where the harness moves back and forth when you open the door.- Dan Cragin

1996 GTS Gen2 MGW -v- OE Shifter Decision

A good point that Kenny brought up. If you are going to replace the regulator yourself, you have to be very careful removing the door panel. There is a plastic molding on top of the door panel that will break if you just try to lift the panel off once all the screws are removed. When the panel...- Dan Cragin
