Well...I will give you the "other side". 3.55's for the street. I tried 3.73's, and too low in my opinion. Went back to 3.55's. I also use the K+N system on my cars. Not going to matter much either way...but have tried stock, Greens, K+N...and feel the car breathes a bit better with K+N's.
Now..it has ALMOST 3000 miles at 2843. It is a used car...and takes the normal drive off the lot hit. It probably cost the original buyer a good 10% for those 3k miles.
Well....I got a best guess estimate today. "Around" 400 Verts unsold...but that includes '05's as well. 250 was the "best guess" on '06 Verts unsold. The last 20 are awaiting transport to dealers as we speak.
The only change in'08 is the HP..and the hood. No re-tooling required. The 2010 may or may not be the next Generation. That decision is yet to be made. Get an '08. The new Gen4 may not happen till 2012, although 2010 is widely talked about.
That is one of the reasons they didn't announce...but a secondary one. By Mid-January, you should see less than 50 Coupes left, on the high side. There are dealers who are still trying to get big $$...and that is why there are 115 left now. The last 50 will be slow to sell...but when spring hits...
Over 100 sold in the last 30 days. The last 2 months have seen sales of almost 200 Coupes. They will be long gone before the '08's hit the streets in May at best case.
Doesn't mean much, but received some interesting info today. There are less than 115 '06 Coupes left, not counting the 18 White/blue still out there. Pretty good sell down...from the 800+ produced. Also, October was the highest Viper sales month since '03...with 196 units sold. The Germany trip...
