New guy looking for ACR
The Motor Trend article has it right...but doesn't mention that the speaker covers, battery cover and radio panel are nice finished carbon fiber pieces. ;) It also makes the car more rare, fwiw. Opinions on New Transmission and Gearing Wanted
I changed over to the Gen V gears, and it is well worth the money and effort. I don't know what they were thinking with the 08-09 tranny. It sucks. I bought mine, the ACR-X trans, from Viper Race Hqtrs. I think you should easily get 190 on a mile track at your 625 rwhp and easily with...- Boxer12

Viper + Ford GT
The frame was structurally strengthened in 09, at least on the ACR. The 09 ACR has the Ring record also, fwiw. Many unique color schemes on ACR. Go for the ACR!- Boxer12

ALMS - Lime Rock July 5th - 6th
^^apparently, the guys at BMW know how to play the FIA game very well. Purpose built car, top pro driver. Vette couldn't really touch it head to head. I only scanned the race, but I didn't think I ever saw a GT pass a GT car. Lots going on at that track, except racing.- Boxer12

Need some emergency emergency brake help
When you buy the new pads, there is a detailed instruction sheet in the box. Basically you remove the caliper, screw the piston back in to install the new pads (use needle nose pliers) and reinstall the caliper then adjust ebrake by multiple lever actuations.- Boxer12

Ralph's Viper + ACR-X Slicks

TK seems to have more than his share of bad luck...but did you notice there were two Vipers on the track? They were neck and neck in the middle of the GT pack so putting the Stig in there prob won't help. (Did he really put the Gen V on top of the board?) ;)f...- Boxer12

I think its a big deal for Viper to be making a factory racing effort and I suspect it will trickle down to car sales.
