    That's cool. :) That way you don't have to replace the pump assembly until the pump itself actually quits. -there's no band-aid for that one...............:(

    Mine has that in certain light conditions. Don't notice it while driving the car. ......Have seen it in other cars.

    Yes. A new 11 year old car has 11 year old fluids in it. Change them all. .......or just drive like hell until it starts having problems, and hassle with it then. Vipers are mechanically almost bullet-proof. But only if they are well maintained. Those of us that hammer on our cars don't have...

    Geez.......... What does Florida use for road pavement? Does it have some kind of aggressive sandpaper-like texture, or what? Should I move down there and open a new tire shop? -I could be selling each customer a new set of tires every 3 or 4 months.

    You and I are idiots. -because we share the same opinion on old tires. ........according to that other 'Viper guy' , tire age and degradation is irrelevant. perfectly safe for aggressive driving, high speed highway, whatever. no problem. :crazy2:

    Brake Fluid

    I use Castrol synthetic DOT-4. I change it twice a season and have had no problems. A lot of guys are gonna chime in with the 'Motul 600 or nothing' rap. ....also Castrol SRF, ATE Super Blue, and whatnot. Those high end fluids are superior for track use, but require more frequent changing...

    Skip shift solenoid may have been unplugged so that it won't work. Car with 'full exhaust' may not have the rear O2's anymore either, and hence the codes. You'll have to get under and look. :eater:

    40 is way too much tire pressure..... Aside from that, My car will wheel hop if the tires get loose in a straight line regardless of what tires I have on the car or what pressure they are at.
