Jay if your off that much, you will need to get the alignment redone. Did you even have this done yet?
I have some good alignment specs if you need.

There are many high quality electric fans on the market, with every kind of thermal triggering device imaginable.
Any of you guys ever heard of Tommy Fudge, his car was number one at the V-10 Nationals last year. He runs an electric in line pump on his car. He said it runs cool as a...
I'm thinking the C/C clutch setup uses it's own special flywheel that has a carbon coating on it. The price is a bit high, but not so much due to the, "Viper Tax". It's high for any car, and low production will raise the price.
Just let me supply them for you guys, and their never will be a...
No, the Max setting on any A/C is to shut off all fresh air blending in with the recirculated air. All cars allow about 5% fresh air to come in with the A/C on, but the Max control shuts this off. Some cars,(import) show a drawing of a car with the air flowing in from outside, or another pic. of...
Could this bring on an unreal amount of road feel in the steering wheel? No doubt about it giving a more positive feel.
How about a higher durometer rubber mount, if they are available.
Air turbulance, whistling noise possibly.
What is it about the heat that you don't like? I'm curious as to know what it is that bothers people on the heat issues. Of course I have my gripes on this subject also. I have some solutions, as doe's many others on this.
We have a car in the shop now, and it has this feuture on it. The switch is in the center consol. I don't like it there. I havent given much thought as to where to put it.
The SRT dash is so hard to find a place to put anything, wihtout making it look bad.
I'm very carfull about what I mount...
The Center Force is as Dan say's, and the Spec is off my list. The RPS is grabby and will allways have a bit of chatter, but not all the time. Much loss of drivability in a way. But you do get used to it.
Carbon/Carbon coming soon, answer to our prayers.
It is the absolute solution...
The gauge shows hot at 260, and as we all know it's all over at about that temp. No way I want to be running around at 240F
Wonder at what temp the coolant mixed at 50-50 boils.
I personally like to run the coolant at 75/25 mixture as more water and less coolant run a bit cooler. If the car...
No way I'd want the car getting that hot. That's only a few degrees from outright destruction. Makes ya wonder if it's doing some kinda damage. All aluminum engine's don't like overheating. They disipate heat better but I do know there tolorance to overheating is less.
I would rather an...
The SRT must already have a cooler thermostat, as the car will run around 180 on the expressway in cool weather, but the temp sensor cooling cycle will allow the temp to run much higher before kicking on the varible speed hydro. fan.
The fact that the car holds steady in the 180's is proof...
Correct on the above, and the head pressure in the A/C rises much to high also. This can destroy the compressor.
The A/C coil in the front of the radiator must shed it's heat, and 110 degree heat slow traffic, will not allow this to happen.
I swear I hate what all an A/C doe's to a car...
You said, "please advise" and I will.
These cars are really not ideal to run in extreme hot weather. I'm surprised the temp went as high as it did.
My advice is to not run the car in this kind of heat, especially with the air on, and in slow moving traffic. I'm from Texas, and it just...
Re: Wierd Problem..... Let\'s see who gets it right.
Any of the above, but not all of the above. It could be the hydro system, or the clutch it's self. Bolt issues are common.
Your not alone with this problem.
Big Carrot, with over 2400 posts, and your leaving us. Wow. Keep the SRT, and get the 911 also.
The Viper certainly gets more attention. The only car I know to out do it is the Amrour Hot Dog mobile.
911 Turbo, is such a car, so I can see the conflict.
20 minuets or so. I've ran the Smart Tire system for many years, and had a real chance to observe this. Tires will heat up about 10-20 degrees. Speed heats them up faster than anything.
Why? Just curious.
HAVE THE RADIATOR REPAIRED.
Any good radiator shop can repair the radiator, as good as new. The cost is very little to do this, and removing the radiator is really an easy job, as it's so acessable.
Yes you would be out a about $150.00 or so, but having the car in the shop for several...
Yes it's hard on the back brakes if your applying the brake somewhat while applying torque to the rear. It's not really hard on the car, keep the rpm down to 4500 or less, as the engine goes into a free rev while doing this, and it's a bit hard on the engine.
What kind of tires are you...
Don't really like it at all. The front splitter is huge, and looks as an attached piece, same goes for the back attachments.
Those black wheels are just to much.
quote, They look better in the TRASH!
Nasty, the one spoke is just a HUGE eyesore!
---------------------------------------------
Now Casey, the trash is not very envoiromentaly freindly. Recycling is a must. They will fetch good money on todays aluminum market.
The wheels are a bit...
TO TRENDY FOR ME,
As Cary Grant once said, let not anything stand out so much for you to not be seen.
The wheels say look at me and forget the car. The Armour Hot Dog car says look at me also.
This is such an easy mistake to make, as we look at a wheel and forget about what the car...
I don't think it's the trans. They are filled with Castrol Syntorque, and it's not red. Sort of an amber color. The diff. is not read either. Seems to me it's from the ps system.
