Re: Richmond, VA \"Polar Bear Run\" - Jan 27, 2007
Howard, the site says 93 signed up and don't come if you haven't registered yet. Can we still go? What do you think?
Matt
$400 for bidding if you registered before Dec 1. But who's counting?
Seriously, for those that have done this I was thinking about going as well next year and would love any advice. I almost went last year with the Viper folks but couldn't due to another trip. The bidder pass includs a guest...
Re: Richmond, VA \"Polar Bear Run\" - Jan 27, 2007
No guarantees Howard, but I'll try to come down. I've met two more Viper owners up here Chip "Chipster" and Brian (just bought a '00 from Bernie). Perhaps I can drag them along. Also, if the Corvette club is involved I could persuade the '06...
I have this exact system, B&B headers with full random tech exhuast, and high flow cats. It's not the loudest system by any means but the sound is very nice. I think there is a little drone, but that doesn't bother me. I think you will be happy.
Re: No more E-mail notification of new PM\'s?
Chad didn't you know it's much better to expose your weiner when it is *warm* outside. It's always cold for me, so well... ya know.
Geez! Roough year for the VA/MD club. First Ron and now Tony. Bummer dude. I hope for our sake you don't sell it.
Unfortunately, your car is bad azz and someone will love it, I know I do. Assuming it goes just remember Tony we'll be here when you come back. Peace bro.
I was by far faster than the vettes. But keep in mind at this level it's far more a difference in driver than car. I was in the Novice class and many of these guys have never even been on the track before. Not that I'm great or anything but there is a huge difference between your first and...
Finally back from Norway and downloaded some pics from my track day at Summit Point. As I mentioned in another post I graduated to Group 2I in the Bill Scott Racing School, so I'm intermediate level with an instructor. The first pic is the best as I'm surrounded by vetts. Thought you guys...
I'm not much of a cold weather person, so I don't know if I would like living here. Having said that though I must say that Norwegians are the most polite and kind people I have met. Granted I'm not a huge international traveler. I'm in a fairly small town and everyone speaks english better...
Hey all. I've been out of the loop for a couple weeks as I'm up here in Norway working. Found some time to surf and thought I would check in. Norway is quite beautiful. The cars suck but the women are incredible. Unfortunately, at an average temperature below 40 degrees there isn't much...
Re: Richmond, VA \"Polar Bear Run\" - Jan 27, 2007
Not to hijack but is there going to be a Christmas/New Year meeting this year? Howard sounds like fun. I didn't hear about it last year. I just might come down there if the weather is good.
Bernie! Where is this new place? Goochland county or further west? I looked at some land myself in Goochland county many years ago. I will be in Glen Allen tomorrow (Tuesday) or possibly Wednesday. I'd love to come by and check out the new home. I might even have my snake out. Let me know...
Anyone tried clearing their history and cookies out of your browser? I know every now and then I'll come to the website and it won't let me log in beacause it thinks I already am. But then I can't do all the regular things beacuse I'm not logged in. I'm not saying there aren't possibly...
Love that engine dude. I know I've told you this before but I got to keep reminding you. Very nice! Wish I was closer. We could get our "children" together.
Nooooo! That's exactly the setup I want! I've been saving for a Roe set up with the chrome blower and blue tubes ever since I saw them on another Mike's silver and blue in my area. Now I have to change something. Oh well, at least your hood pad looks crappy. J/K Beautiful setup and nice...
