I chased an idle "hang" for a while and the I cleaned the iac etc. but the one thing that I did where I noticed the biggest difference is I ran 2 bottles of Techron through the gas. After I did that almost instantly while it still hangs for a few seconds it will drop down to where it should be...
Yes, my flag I fly out front of my home means something even more special today, I'm just glad Osama died like the coward bitch he is hiding behind a woman :usa:
I'm certainly not a frame expert but from the pictures I'd be doubly sure about the frame, if ONLY the control arms were damaged as they claim why is the hood so tweaked where is meets the sills. I mean I know the fit and finish is not perfect on these cars but that is WWWAAAAYYYYY off and I...
Jon B, thanks for the reply, that is good to know, I've seen some that look really weird they must be much bigger. So I see that some mention 18 F and 19 R, is that what you would be looking to do on a gen1 or would you go 18 F and R??
Hmmmmm, interesting read....I bought my wife a BMW roadster last year and I joined one of the forums to ask some questions and gain some knowledge. Then out of nowhere one of the members posted after someone remarked how'd they'd trade me for my Viper after reading it in my profile list, that...
Haven't had that happen yet, but did have a cop just a few months ago pull up to me at a light and rev the $hit out of his patrol car and looked at me like " you wanna go?". To which I just smiled and laughed, how much you want to bet if I would have took off I'd have gone to jail for drag...
These stories are awesome! For me, first time I ever sat in a Viper I was about 15 and a neighbor owned a local Caddy dealer in town and brought a new 94 RT10 home. He was cool enough to let me sit in it and started it up, I will NEVER forget the feeling (a lot like another first time doing...
Re: Would a bad radiator cap cause the reservoir tank in the front bumper to overflow
Yes, I've had 2 go bad and my latest problem is a bad thermo which I am planning to do this fall.
That whole situation is sad, I used to love that show, one of my favorites years ago, I haven't seen it in probably 2 years, I didn't even know it was still on television.
That's weird, when I programmed my new remote I remember using a "green" grounding wire under the steering column, in that post above where the guy scanned a copy of the manual I didn't see anything about that, how can that not be mentioned and for a gen 1 car like mine???????????????????
Oh...
Just curious, how long did it take him? Reason I ask is I've been working on mine forever and am no where near done, did he do the whole car like that in one day? If so I'm doing something wrong lol.
I believed you that is why my response was dead serious about telling the manager and staking out the place to get it on video. I know that this $hit happens, anyone who says it doesn't is kidding themselves or just lucky IMO. I don't care who you are, it would be hard no to "punch" an exotic...
I just bought 3, 5 quart jugs at Walmart for 25.00/pc. I checked pricing a couple of the stores listed (Napa is the only one close to me) and it is 8.49/qt and they only sell it by the quart. Even if you take off the rebate it is 5 bucks more then normal price at Walmart, just make sure it is...
I'm in the same exact boat, I don't want huge rims though, so would 18" be a better choice for a gen 1? I would like to select a rim that is easy to get several tire choices as well.
Definitely call Steve, he knows his business about the alarms in the Gen 1, that is my advice. He is the reason I have an extra fob and batteries with me. BTW you can pick up a fob and program it for your car on ebay for like 10 bucks, just a thought.
Hey Jason, do you think I could enter my gen 1? I've almost finished the paint correction and it is near perfect and all original, just was curious????
