    Just be careful down shifting to first and nailing the gas. Many a snake has bitten their owners doing that in a turn.

    Shifting hard...got stuck in neutral

    Might be a shift fork. Mine was bent when I got the car. It would feel like it went in to third but it was not. It never got stuck in neutral, but I had to shift it into anyother gear to get it working correctly. It only did it if I was shifting hard above 4500 rpm. they fixed it under warrenty.

    I was talking about all the price bashing that takes place. I don't know about this car but a good basic Vipers are becoming few and far between. Besides I am of the opion that the market for the vintage iron is largely inflated by the people selling the cars.

    Look for the build date on the car. If the car was made between Sept. to Nov. of 1999 there might be a ring problem with the car. The car will use a quart of oil in 500 to 1500 miles.
