I think he's looking for a top dollar for a really nice car and he's got nothing to lose by putting it up for auction. I can state with 100% confidence that it IS as nice as he say's it is. Although I love my red Street Serpent, I really liked his B&W when finished.
Yes, it does look...
I think he's referring to the styling cues of the car. The Street Serpent design was inspired by all things VIPER, (gen 1, GTS, Showcars and most improtant, Comp Coupe).

Thanks for the nice comments guys. I guess I have no choice here but to show progress so far. I can say that we are definately feeling very Comp Coupe at this point. This new roofline is frustrating to show in pictures as it takes a sharp eye to notice that the roofline is almost 2" lower...
He mentioned he may sell the car before I really even got started. Obviously, I've been through this car quite deep, and it is a real solid, well done car. I wanted to keep it ( trade) for myself, but I don't think the owner has any interest in letting it go that easy.

NICE!!
Great job. It looks like the quality of paint and fit of panels was done very well. It must feel great to finally walk out to your garage and admire it.
Can't wait to see it in person.

The front splitter takes a bit of training for driving on the streets. Without the proper knowledge on how to drive with that, it may be the first thing to go so use caution.
He's going to get ALOT of attention at prom. Do you thing he'll remeber his date?

Nice job. The biggest risk here is not knowing how much clear Saleen applied. It's great that there was enough to work with, HUGE improvement for sure.

I pretty much hated the regular Zymol product. Smelled nice, that's about it.
My favorite is Adams buttery wax. Great stuff, and $60 for a GALLON price is not bad.

Again, I agree with Dimitrios, a control arm is virtually the same new or used. That's the way to go if you want to get on the road. Other than bushings (which are replacable), they don't really wear out.
