Couldn't have said it better. I agree that a mid engine cars do have a more exotic appeal. Many are the highest price, most engineered cars in the world, but that doesn't always equate to better performance. I love the simplicity of these cars. It's what makes them special.
I have the same problem. Just started yesterday. I slid both seats forward to vacuum behind them for the first time in three years of ownership. I'll let you know if it fixed my problem as well.
I know on a previous thread you were talking of building a 700 rw hp NA build. Did you change you mind because of reliability issues or did the cost outway the possible reward? Hope everything turns out well.

Nice times. Keep practicing and you will run low elevens at 130 plus. Track prep is essential for 60 ft times. Good driver cannot run sub 1.9 on poor surfaces.
