    900 mile drive

    my wife and i did 2700 miles in six days coming back from Charlotte NC to CA after last year's VOI in our 06 vert, no problem and we are still speaking ! In fact she said it was so comfortable that she convinced me to get my new (to me) 2010 ACR Vooodoo with 560 miles a month ago :-))

    Regarding disabling the steering lock? Do you risk having your insurance cancelled if the car get stolen and they find out the lock was disabled or a "broken off" key was in the lock?

    When we went to the last two VOI's we shipped the majority of our luggage with UPS. They have special luggage boxes that are resusable and because they are a standard size, not that expensive, under $20 each way.

    I have just sold my 06 vert, definately could NOT get two 22" rollaboards, maybe two 20" but not sure. Neither is a good solution as thay are too rigid. Definately can get two large sports bags as you can stuff them in the corners. Add a couple of supermarket carry bags and you are good to go.

    i have just got a VCA cover for my 2010 ACR. it fits really well and is made of Weathershield HD. It is excellent quality, more features and no more expensive than the equiv from the many generic manufacturers

    Hi, I am thinking about a 2010 ACR. I currently have a 2006 vert with corsa (cats still fitted). As I take my foot off the accelerator, my car has a nice "burble and pops" through the exhaust. Does an ACR sound similar or does the VVT effectively stop it?
