Why are Heffner or DLM cars never included in teh big magazine writeups like Lingeffelter and H-Boy who ripped evrybody off?
They seem to have benn around awhile and have very happy customers and I don't get why they are omitted from these shootouts.
All that work only shaved off 85 lbs? It would still be about 200lbs heavier than a Z06.
The Composite body is already so light that this is not a good soloution to reducing weight.

HREs are the best looking wheels. i Can't speak for the R series but the regular 540 series has very soft outer edges that will bend in a pothole. I damaged three wheels in one day last winter on my corvette.
The paint scheme is just to show off all the weight saving carbon fiber. They should have used a better color though like silver on teh previous Carbon concept or Gunmetal would have been perfect. Right now it has the look of a used cop car like in Blues Brothers.
