You should try out Buttonwillow. It is a very forgiving track as it only has one wall on the front straight to crash into. The rest of the track, about 90% of it, has dirt runoff so in case you go off track all you have to do is get a car wash.
It is a blast and Vipers and Vettes can get up...
Shame on you for being such a drama queen. Did you cry when you wrote this diatribe against the entire site?
I have been coming to this site for 6 years and it is very helpful. Take your "data" and shove it.
You are correct sir. Buttonwillow is a blast.
I head out of the sweeper at about 85 and hit 135 on the back straight and about 110 on the front. I beleive we ran 13CCW that day.
WIsh I could go more.
Hope to see you there one day.
I never said I am getting the new Z. I am waiting till 07 to either way to see if Dodge comes back with something on the Viper Coupe. If not I will get an 07 Z with the first year bugs worked out.
Personally I like the looks of the Viper coupe better than the new Z. I think the new Coupe...
From personal stop light experience the Gen I Viper is faster than a ZR-1. Also it was cheaper and lighter and every car rag picked it as a better car than the ZR1.
ZR1 where discontinued because, wait for it....
no one bought them. They made IIRC 500 in their last year of production.
Also...
Someone who actually remebers what a Viper is supposed to be.
This car blew away not only the Corvette when it came out but just about every other sports car on the planet. Also there was no division in people in terms of looks. It was a home run, I still turn heads and get thumbs up every...
Yeah so what. Who needs superior performance. The Viper doesn't need to be the fastest. Third or fourth place is fine. Maybe they should even detune it so less people buy it and it becomes more exclusive.
Ferarris don't sit on lots with ten thousand dollar "incentives" to buy. Every new...
So only the first two hundred will have white stripes?
That is stupid - why not give people a choice in colors instead of all these BS limited editions. Gen I&II had 2 special editions over the course of 10 years.
Everything was stock, except for a racing seat to hold Jan Magnuson in more firmly. Any adjustments made to the z06 suspension was applied to the production version.
Another confirmation that the new Z ran the Ring at 7:42.99

Guess they made a mistake claiming it was the Blue Devil in their July issue. no?
