And scramblers are BS.
In order to work it would need to transmit a signal, it would be illegal.
It can be done but no big manufacturer could get away with selling it.
Some guy could sell jammers out of his basement shop. Not a big company.
I spent many years doing electronic warfare...
Re: What\'s ups or down with UPS???
I think when it comes to incomming parcels, if you talk to your driver and get to know him a little, you will get better service. No company policy involved of course just people to people.
With outgoing,
I believe an insured value of $1k is the break point...
Re: Chemists, Engineers, Dentists, and Flunkies like me look in here pleas
Greald,
I don't see how a tank of nitrogen and a tank of oxygen can give you nitrous oxide.
That link doesn't show any nitrous output without a nitrous input.
Re: Chemists, Engineers, Dentists, and Flunkies like me look in here pleas
Gerald Levin,
Are you sure the system you talked about would make nitrous oxide out of nitrogen and oxygen?
JackB,
"if any industrial nitrous uses the sulphur any longer."
You mean you can breath the stuff they sell now?
Re: I bet you $ to donuts you\'ve never seen this Viper problem-
I don't believe that a loose ground can burn out a starter.
It could keep it from working but not ruin it.
I don't know exactly what you mean by a loose ground wire. If you mean a wire that looked like it should go to ground but...

Just have him disconnect or remove the bottle.
By the way,
what will he be driving that he will have a chance against you without his nitrous?
Greg,
Doesn't the higher ratio rocker,
that you might run with a hotter cam,
give a little mechanical advantage to the valve spring when it comes to keeping the push rods and lifters down where they belong?
So if you wanted to drive your GT on the street, what kind of insurance would you have to get?
I would think that an stated value policy would be the only way to go.
I guess if you had the money to buy it, the insurance wouldn't be a big deal but it probably would cost a bunch to get a policy...
The battery in my 94 was there when I bought the car three years ago.
I don't know how old it is. Probably should change it.
But, I store my car in a non heated garage and I have never had a problem starting the car. I do not believe that any Viper "needs" a battery tender.
Will it hurt to...
I'm always getting the Vette hand wave from Vettes when driving my Viper.
They must think it's one of them.
My car has the side and hood emblems removed. People are always asking, "what is it"?
I also have had the question, "is that one a V8 or a new one"?
If you have a voltmeter, check the voltage at the battery or at the Positive terminal under the hood with the car not running.
You will see about 12 volts if the battery is good and charged reasonably.
Then start the car and measure the voltage again. With the car running you should see about...
