Five and six points are illegal on the streets because they have not been crash tested in that vehicle. The truth of the matter is that the factory ACR harnesses should be legal, but are not. The DOT factory three point is a piece of junk. Think about how the body is stressed in an accident...
I tried knocking on Kenne Bell's door a bunch of times but they had no interest . If twenty or so viper guys started bombarding them with calls, things might change. They are the kings in the mustang world, and they have the resources and the savvy to build a monster kit that put the Viper back...
Thanks Jack, I do remember reading your old post on this matter. The new bolt pictured is quite a bit shorter, is it sufficiently long enough? Did you replace the bushings on the outer ears of the diff cover as well? I'm just wondering if that would be a good idea as well, so that no single part...
Mid year 2000 they went from the Koni 2812 race shock to the Dynamic race shocks and much stiffer springs. They are both prone to leaking earlier than most street shocks. The nice thing about the Koni shock is that it is still manufactured, not sure if the Dynamic is still currently available...
The entire kit is applicable as far as I know, at least on a GTS. I'd guess that the RT-10 with the rear exit exhaust is no different. One of the club members car was used as the prototype. I'd call ATP direct and check for availabillity, I'd spoken to the owner who was a really knowledgable...
Here you go..........

These guys developed the finest cooling solution for the Gen II Viper. Dan Craigin sold this stuff for years and I believe he was instrumental in it's development. It's really costly, someday I may spring for this stuff myself if...
Give'm a six pack and an extendo magnet, that must be C&D's latest video approach. Call it the regular Joe points out the obvious series, kinda funny actually.
Pretty crazy how the Mercedes wagon was right there! and that Black series is certainly a monster. Lack of traction is certainly the Vipers problem, either way the GTR is going to rule the streets every time. Even with drag radials, you never know.
Personally other than the Gen II ACR wheel (my favorite wheel of all time), I think these wheels are awesome. I really don't care if they are on any other car either. BBS wheels have been on other cars for years as well. I don't worry about what other people like, it's what I like, if others...
I have no doubt that the latest cars are quicker and faster than the previous gen ACR or base model. Regardless of what the ACR owner "felt" , the aero on that car is a disadvantage at speed.
The ACR is set up like a tractor pull race. The faster it goes the harder the air brakes are working. It's so painfully obvious as the new car pulls away fom the older car as if it had an extra 200 HP. A better race would be with a stock 2010 non ACR vs a stock 2013. Drag races at the track or...
If I had extra cash, I'd be hoarding up as many ACR's as I could get my hands on. It's going to take at least 20 yrs. before you see these things going crazy. The reason prices are low to begin with (Vipers in general) is that so many people bought these as collector cars to begin with. When...
That video doesn't mean anything. In the first "go" you see the Viper tap it's brakes. Pretty lame video and truthfully you can mod just about any car to beat a Viper, all it takes is cash and then more cash. The end result being a car that's not reliable or has drivabillity issues. Kinda like...
Looked like a typical Sunday cruise to me. Unfortunately these things happen all the time, and no one is immune to it. Everybody, except for someone who buys the car to park it, has driven the car at one point or another beyond what would be considered safe. Doesn't make it right, but that's the...
