Just an FYI, official numbers have been listed by SRT for a few weeks.

    How cool is this

You show me this after all the whinning and complaining going on in the other negative Nancy thread. This guy is awesome!

Their is some truth in your statement, but people are people and every car club has it's insecure tools.

Monday we find out who is faster at Laguna Seca, ZR1 or Gen V

I couldn't agree with you more. Anyone who has been collecting or building other cars can attest to this unbelievably unique relationship. NO other manufacturer gets as close to it's buyers than Dodge/SRT. Like I said in my other post, it just blows me away that the CEO of the brand is out...

Monday we find out who is faster at Laguna Seca, ZR1 or Gen V

Let's not forget this car company is owned by FIAT. I'm certain that tire choice was removed from SRT's hand. Italian mothership equals overpriced subpar Italian tires. On the other hand it meant fantastic seats!

Monday we find out who is faster at Laguna Seca, ZR1 or Gen V

I don't think the factory forgot it's core buyers. It's just that it's core buyers were not sustaining the brand, end of story. It's an evolutionary change, that had to happen because most guys who have the cash these days to buy these cars are a bunch of (I'll be nice) pansy's. My first car had...

Monday we find out who is faster at Laguna Seca, ZR1 or Gen V

Look guys that would only count if those same drivers drove just as hard and had as much seat time in the ZR-1. Otherwise what's the point. Face it the ZR-1 at this point is likely a quicker car around the track. If Chevrolet had the balls to put real aero like the old ACR, chances are very good...

Monday we find out who is faster at Laguna Seca, ZR1 or Gen V

Very true and I'm not taking away anything from the ZR-1, it's an awesome car. Personally, I love manufacturer wars. I think this is only going to start the kind of war that we (including Chevy guys) will benefit from in the long run. The Pres. of SRT is in the battle, I love it. I'm certain...

I hate most people, they have no respect and are a waste

Take a look around, not to rain on your complaint here, but the concept of code, honor, morality, courtesy,..........wait how about basic tenets, have been flushed down the toilet. Who shoots up a school of kids. Oh wait how about at the mall or the movie theatre. I do feel for you, however we...

    ROLLBAR/CAGE

I kinda figured this was coming, as the 11.50 rule was set up quite a few years ago, I believe because of the Viper. I was hoping it would have included my car, but hey realistically a GTS is not set up to run that fast from the factory. It seemed silly that a car that is certified from an OEM...

    1st track test

Not sure why everyone is complaining. The car is a great step forward. I disagree that it's not a great drag car. What I will say is that you'll never see the huge performance gap between it and other cars as you saw in 1996. Manufacturers across the board have upped their game twenty fold since...

I'm just gone go ahead and say it...

Re: I'm just gone go ahead and say it.... Funny post, and everyone has an opinion. Truthfully though...........not much performance difference between the two. Man they sure do drive like Cadillacs though..........:D:D:D

AR Racing Step Headers with GG Heads and Cam

Here is an amazing oddity. My headers which I believed to be way undersized proved me wrong. I've got the original SVS headers 1 1/2" stepped to 1 5/8" with Burns merge collectors. My car puts down 585 to the wheels. Do I think it would make more HP with larger tube headers, probably, however...

    Viper engine in an S2000

Certainly looks like a crazy amount of work and thought went into that build. What's scary looking is the work on the firewall, it looks like a bunch of pounding and a ton of JB weld. Those rotors and tiny calipers up front should make for a scary ride for sure. Besides that it should be the...

    E85 as an Octane Booster

Klamathpro sounds like a great idea. I'd just run a seperate fuel cell and pump for the nitrous system. I'm assuming of course that you have a wet system. Call your nitrous kit provider and get some jetting recommendations. I'd start real slow and watch your plugs carefully as your tuning your...

Not sure if this is out there yet. Raplhy

Thanks, that was a great show. I've got to say, Ralph has such a balanced confident delivery of information. He is a pleasure to watch. He really does make you want to buy Chrysler products.

    belanger drone

Drone is typically encountered when your in a cruising gear and you are under load. It's a really annoying boomy sound that overcomes the cabin space.

    belanger drone

I think Zee has got it right, why not use the Belanger header and combine it with the Corsa exhaust. You'll have headers and the exhaust you prefer. Loud does not equate to drone. Only when you purchase a cat back other than Corsa. You'll never hear anyone talk about adding HP reducing mufflers...

    My DIY differential gear change

Maybe it's just the photograph, but I couldn't help but notice the generous amounts of chamfering on the original pinion vs. the new one.

    ACR Track car value?

You sound like an honest guy, I'd just sell it as a track car. In my opinion, if you put it back to stock it's going to look like a street car that's been abused. Keep it as is, and your not hiding anything. I think it may be a slower sale but the right person will love your car. I also believe...

    My DIY differential gear change

Great write up, love the fact that your making your own tools! I couldn't help but notice the difference in the number of teeth on the new pinion vs the old. Who is the manufacturer of the new gear set. Looking forward to your progression.
