    Mint condition is just that, unused without any sign of wear or damage. A pin head rock chip on the car and its no longer mint. Everyone else's definition is their own convenient scale of perfection.

    There is a viper specific Optima battery that fits the Viper, if you get the wrong one it will arc against the frame. Many people don't like them, but I've had great luck with mine. The key is not to deep cycle the red top battery, if you don't drive it much, keep a "Battery Tender" brand...
