It's driving me crazy, that I can't find my stats, but off the top of my head my ccp was no where near 224. I want to say it was some where in the 190 range. Cylinder heads are the key ingredient here. The stock head design is really archaic compared to the newer designs. The fact that I added a...
Uh.............. ya, I'd say she's smok'n hot...............
As far as the Viper, I saw the door surround, but hey congrats and thanks for the female introduction!!!!!!
A couple of things to note, 2000+ vipers have high bleed down lifters, in addition to different exhaust valve timing. I have the info. your looking for but can't seem to locate it now. I do have my current cam specs. but unless your running Striker heads they really won't mean much to you. I can...
mbccenter is right on, remember its got 30K on it, its not a trailer queen. The perfectionist looking for that perfect car isnt looking for yours, at least not right now anyway. 25 yrs from now your car in its current condition may be worth more. The guy buying your car will appreciate a...
Some people are gear heads and well............ some have nothing good to say. Glad to see your a real car guy (truck) and not just a dude with a stick up his a$$.
Your going to get plenty of arrogance from any car owner who bought his or her car to prove some kind of financial point. There are plenty of people like this out there. I've noticed it more and more lately, especially among the non gear heads. Volkswagen had a great commercial stereotyping...
I'm not in this group, however I'd like to comment. It seems that in this day and age, not considering emissions ramifications seems so foolish. Bottom line is that these new cars meet stringent emissions standards, with those standards come exceptional engine longevity and drivability. I'm...
Actually, I think it's funny that a Vette owner is calling out Vipers as Cruise night only cars. As a percentage of total vehicles out there, I can assure you more Vipers are tracked than Vettes. Not that there is anything wrong with just owning a cruise mobile. Just a silly comment.
It's great to have awesome American muscle to choose from. If and when that comes out and SRT releases the ACR your really going to have some wicked options.
The Tire rack shows a Hoosier DOT Drag radial in your size as well, just not sure about what tire you could balance it out with up front. Someone has probably used them. Just boils down to your ultimate use and preference.
Kumho V710
Pretty much the only tire that meets my criteria that's currently available for an 18" Viper rim.
It's the only comp DOT tire I know that doesn't say for COMPETITION USE ONLY on the side wall, has proper speed rated construction. Meaning its not a light weight tire like the Hoosiers...
Love the V-10, but bottom line is that no sales means the car goes away anyway. The car car needs more power to stay on top of the world, The Viper community has basically shown for the most part that it is not the savagely loyal community that it once was. The Gen V was introduced to a less...
Depends really, if the headers have the factory heat shields over them and some form of Cat is in place along with both sets of 02 sensors, you'll most likely pass. Without the shields in place, a savvy tech may have issues.
Sorry for posting this here, when our attention should be on the Viper, but this is an equally cool car of a different era....
