I think what Woodhouse probably installed was a shorter shaft. I could be wrong, but that sounds probable. With a whole new shifter you'll feel a big difference.
You're fine with that hp on the stock motor. 700rwhp seems to be the magic number that you want to try to stay around. I think mine made 720 at the tires. My car runs great! That IS a good deal!
I drove my car to Velocity, but I live in Dallas. Armorgod trailered his there. If you do just the basic Paxton kit, the turn around should just be a couple of days, but mine was there much longer because I kept adding things. They did a great job! Tell them Crockett sent you! ;)
