    Shifter recommendation

    I did the SVS shifter with the longer shaft that they provided, and it works great. I have the stock shift knob, which I like, and it's perfect.

    2003 SRT10 Clutch problems with only 4K miles

    My clutch blew up at 4k also. Sucks. I replaced it with a Spec clutch and have ahd nop problems since.

    I think what Woodhouse probably installed was a shorter shaft. I could be wrong, but that sounds probable. With a whole new shifter you'll feel a big difference.

    You really should do a shifter intead of just a shift knob. It makes a big difference. I have the SVS shifter, and I love it.

    You're fine with that hp on the stock motor. 700rwhp seems to be the magic number that you want to try to stay around. I think mine made 720 at the tires. My car runs great! That IS a good deal!

    I have the 355/25/19 Pirellis on mine, and it hooks up really well, but they are a little shorter than the stock tires.

    I drove my car to Velocity, but I live in Dallas. Armorgod trailered his there. If you do just the basic Paxton kit, the turn around should just be a couple of days, but mine was there much longer because I kept adding things. They did a great job! Tell them Crockett sent you! ;)
