Gen 1 hood rubbing on air box.
It's a fit/finish problem. You can tweek the hood catch on the pass. side if you like also.... Raise it just a hair or two. I found that a small foam pad on the underside of the hood there works just fine to keep the parts from rubbing but yours looks a bit worse than mine...- jdeft1

Gen 1 hood rubbing on air box.
Mine does it too. I keep a small piece of packing foam on that corner of the airbox...... These early vipers are a small step from kit-cars. Make do and love it for what it is, IMO. -Cheers- jdeft1

help turning off my ALARM SET with no key fob, GEN 1 car will not stay running
Nobody will post the answer. The alarm system is the only thing I HATE about my old viper. I located the arm and disarm inputs and installed a secret toggle in mine.....:omg: ??- jdeft1

Soft-top hole-preventer-o-matic?
I made similar protective pads by cutting a slit in a round block of packing foam (one for each side). The clip slides into the foam blocks .... I think you get the idea. The foam I use is similar to the protective padding used secure sensitive items for shipping, not so soft that it...- jdeft1

The Enzo guy makes a showing everytime I make it over.... (three times this summer). There were so many ooglers, that guy could charge a fee!!! lol.. This info is published but requires some consideration (and experimentation on my part)... I don't know Steve's trick but I do know the arm/disarm inputs on my '94 alarm module...and I have a hidden button installed just in case it wacks out.
