Re: ACR Guys with 275/35 fronts & 345/30 rear Michelin Super Sports... opintions plea
There is a slightly bigger Super Sport available for the front - 285/35-18:

Sounds vaguely familiar! :omg: The Nitto is a very popular tire for the Viper and we rarely hear anything but glowing reviews on them. One of our guys has had them on his Viper since 2009 (before VPA even existed) and loves them. With the softer sidewall they don't provide especially good...
The headers are the same for Gen 4 & 5, so the part number in their press release is available now. Ditto on Gen 5 wheels that are also available, including the lightweight Sidewinder II track wheels. There are other odds and ends available like shift knobs, floor mats (no logos - we got a set...
Sorry guys, but we didn't see the posts on this. The VCA continues to acquire more tooling and recently brought in approximately twenty more semi-truck loads of Gen 3 & 4 tooling. The tooling will not be considered for use until such time as Mopar supplies of those parts are exhausted. No...
If you decided to go for brand new in the box (no blems or curbings), we have a pretty good price on them. And yes, really available unlike that pesky oil adapter we are working on... :(

The wheels are on our site and you can click the pictures to get better close ups and prices.
As for those BBS wheels, upgrade to Venom and save even more! :D
Join the VCA and you will save $375, join as Venom and save $500. Probably worth the price of admission... :D
Oh and note that it will come with all weatherstripping, latches, and hinges too. Given the MSRP, even your Viper recyclers probably aren't going to be a lot cheaper.
Have a brand new one in Venom Red - might have one in Viper Violet as well:

Main one including the speedo?

We have the "waterfall" gauges as well...
Crazy stuff indeed, as there is no such part number (04763736AD) listed with Mopar. Not to worry, we are all over this with Mopar and WILL have an answer one way or another!
And the plot thickens. There are two main part numbers for the Gen 2 oil filter adapters: 4886503AC for the "regular" Viper and 4886503AD for the Viper ACR. The regular adapter was what was shown as the ACR adapter in the 2007 Illustrated Upgrade on this site and has been discontinued by Mopar...
Passport Transport (http://www.passporttransport.com/) is the club's carrier of choice and a very popular option. They offer a discount to VCA members as well.
This guy uses them too, and the car being loaded is a tad bit more valuable than most Vipers... :)...
We went ahead and ran a 1999 Viper ACR VIN through the system to verify the correct adapter part number. It is indeed 4886503AD and shows a list price of $488.00 with Mopar. If/when Ryan runs out, we will have them available. For those that already ordered through us, no price change of...
This is the one specified in the Illustrated Upgrades:

Here is the one shown in that tutorial:
The other adapter shown for the Gen 2 Viper is in plentiful supply, albeit...
As noted above, the more recent Gen 2's (starting in 2000) were often referred to as "cream puffs" as they no longer had forged pistons and had a different camshaft. It was the latter that affected how beneficial the headers would be, as the .708 cams generally saw a greater gain with headers...
Confirmed. The stock manifolds are basically the same between Gen 4 & 5, with the difference being the integrated heat shield found on the Gen 4 manifold - the Gen 5 manifold has a bolt-on heat shield. They are interchangeable and the Gen 5 heat shield is probably an improved design like so...
