Okay, here is what we learned: Starting in 2009, CARB/EPA required that the Viper skip shift diagnostic not only performed a simple circuit check (as it had in previous years), but also include a rationality check to determine if the skip shift actually took place. This means that you could no...
There are already a couple Gen 2's running around with the Gen 4 set up: heads, intake, fuel rails, etc. We know of another conversion taking place right now. Expect a complete kit to be available in the not-too-distant future...

Changed, and thanks for the heads up. Collectively we have owned plenty of Vipers here at VPA but none with a 1999. The catalogs showed them through 1999, but undoubtedly because these same surrounds were used on the Prowler - only on the opposite doors! :D
The lens on the Gen 1 & 2 lights are a pretty thick glass, where the Gen 3 & 4 are thin plastic lenses - thus part of the difference in price.

Something to check with SRT, as the biggest change in the 2008 transmission was going to the TR6060 vs. the previous T-56. The Challenger also used the TR6060 6-speed starting in 2009 and there are several skip-shift eliminators built for them all the way up to 2012, presumably without throwing...
When the Gen 3 upgrade kit came out, the stock Gen 4 manifolds were almost $2000 for the pair. We worked with Mopar to lower the price for those that wanted something other than headers and now those same manifolds can be found for under $850 for the pair, brand new in the box.
In other words...
There are skip shift kits readily available as an after market part that simply install between the transmission and the controller. We don't offer them but always recommend Roe Racing as a great source for things like that. Here is one of their skip-shift kits...
We know different vendors have different ways of reaching them best, with some (like us) not logging into the forums as often as we probably should. We know Don Scharf Automotive is best reached by phone (715-479-8597) while we are usually quickest on email. PM sent nonetheless... :D
For the exact stock sizes on those rims the Nitto Invo is your only Nitto option. The Nitto Invo is probably better suited for general street driving, especially if you get caught in the rain as it has more pronounced tread depth. The NT05 has a softer compound (stickier) and probably won't...
Interestingly enough, these still seem to be readily available from Mopar as well, albeit not terribly cheap. While the original part number shows limited stock since being discontinued, the superseding part number shows for the 1999-2000 ACR but doesn't list a part number for the 2001 or 2002...
Okay, first your weights:

Lists for $83.25, we could get one for $57 plus shipping. Brand new in the wrapper. We are ordering one right now to stock (and get a better picture! :D)
FYI in case anybody ever needs one, even for wall art... :)

Not cheap, but boy are they beautiful up close and personal. And hey, it could be worse: The Gen 2 ACR wheels (BBS) still list for almost $10,000 a set and dealer cost is well over $7K!
Sorry we are late! We will weigh them all tomorrow, including the "ultra lightweight" Sidewinder II track wheels. Strangely enough, we received three of each of the latter (hyper black and matte black) but are waiting for the fourth wheel for each set to show up before we post them. They are...
Don't forget that you then need the 42 push pins to attach them - which list at $4.20 each. We sell the pins for a $1 a pop or include them for free with brand new Mopar screens:

The handle itself (once the metal trim is removed) looks like this:
The top is part of the entire plastic piece and if broken off would be impossible to replace by itself. If it popped out at the bottom (which is must not have), they it should go back in but would need to be fixed to stay...
Correct. We already marked these pretty aggressively - the MSRP isn't an inflated number, that is the actual retail price set by Mopar. Looking forward to seeing how they might look on the previous generation cars!
