Dave and Ron...as to the size of this hurricane. last night I saw the state of Texas superimposed over it...and it fit! As to fast cat 4 or slow cat 2, very different types of damage. In this case, I believe this is going to be the nastier of the two. Winds are still strong enough for widespread...
The worst part for ya'll down there is that the track is forecast to cut right across the state, before entering GA and AL. You FL guys will really have a long time of it. Hope that you and your families all come out safe and sound. Zero property damage would be great also! And to think I used...
Re: Henn. or B&B headers + No cats + 3\' Corsa (Anyone have this combo?)
onerareviper...you have an email with a sound clip of the exact combo you are asking about.
Hey guys...thanks to all for the great info. As always, you guys rock when looking for answers from experienced people. If I understand correctly, I should put the wax ON with the buffer, but wipe it OFF by hand?
Thanks again... :headbang:
In reading a recent post about the new NXT Tech Wax, I noticed frequent references to the Porter Cable Orbital buffer. My question here is about this buffer, not any specific wax.
Is this a buffer a novice can use without wiping out the paint? I always heard that a buffer could be your worst...
Ulysses...the VP 104 race gas I mentioned IS unleaded. But, I don't know that continuous use of 104 won't hurt the engine or parts thereof...ie: injectors, plugs...
Thanks all. I'm looking at Chandler, AZ (Phoenix) and the elevation there is NOT a problem. I have been told that from Texas west to CA, you are basically getting "CA gas", the lower octane 91 type. No, I don't want to play the "gas station in the garage" game. I don't mind paying the bucks to...
In making my decision on the two Vipers I want, I'm also planning to move to another state (from NC to AZ) to enjoy better weather and housing. However, I found out that AZ only has 91 octane premium (we have 93 here in NC). Maybe not a problem with a stock Viper, but both of the ones I want are...
JD...those are awesome videos!!! I'm lucky to have a super sound/speaker system with subwoofer on my computer. Wow...did it ever sound great thru them. Made my floor and chair vibrate! In your second video, did you have to get out of the burnout? Looked like the car really wanted to go left...
Thanks Chuck! With the car out of warranty, does the owner have to pay DC for the recall repairs? Are these serious repairs? What was the 999 recall?
Thanks...hey, who knows. I might have been able to give you a great wx forecast back then. After all, in 43 years, I think I made three good...
Would someone help me with the DC maint history and other info on a 1996 GTS? The VIN is 1B3ER69E6TV200662
I'm mainly concerned with 998/999.
Thanks for your help...
Very sorry to hear of your misfortune. But, as said already, it is great that you came out without major injury. So many more Vipers to buy, but only one of you! Best wishes to you.
Avi...thanks for the link. Wow...lots of info there. The actual post I saw on here had pics of the plates for each state. But, your site provided the same info.
Thanks again...
ViperJoe...LOL right along with you. It sounds funny to me too. First, my plan on MOVING is NOT to avoid a "no front plate ticket". I'm in NC and we don't have FRONT plates here. In my 43 year career, I worked in 26 different locations, so don't really have a place I call home. I am retired...
Hey all...a few months back, someone posted a link to a site showing all the states that used only a REAR license plate. I've searched and searched and cannot find that post again. Anyone have the link?
Thanks...
Yes, Roof had a good piece of the air time. Looked to me like he blew the launch, but things went by so fast, really hard to tell. The tenth place winner ran in the 10s...hard to believe that Roof wouldn't beat that, but they did have to run three passes. Guess we will hear after this weekend...
