    Engine bay comparison

VM-01 is the first road legal prototype Viper. Ever. First 'RT/10' if you will without a sports bar, a center gas cap, funky mid-80's Corvette looking blade wheels and of course a V8. --RS

How To: Door Stanchion Removal (pictures)

Very cool, and nicely detailed! Gotta say that whole section is my favorite part of the car. Love those door handles! Question, whats the inner part of the door look like? Sounds silly but I've never seen how everything is connected. --RS

    Automatic Viper?

Again, No. Sadly, I'm one of those few that missed that era. If I could, I would do anything to be at least born as early as the late 50's so I could grow up and drive cars from the 70's. The 80's, from an automotive standpoint, well they sucked. I grew up in a era that the stupid things...

Viper Myth Thread. What have you heard?

FOR YEARS, I've heard the fastest vipers are either red or yellow... That's the biggest MYTH in the book! --RS

    Automatic Viper?

An automatic in a Viper is a sin. Period. I'd rather be erased off the planet before that happens. Save the manuals. --RS

    Car&Driver:ZR1 beats the Viper...again

Sorry, no, not everyone likes to drive in straight lines... I'll give the old Cupholder it's due. It still took 20 years, 5 generations and a supercharger to finally get to this point. Enough of the magazine rags, let's wait till 1.13.13, I'm dying to hear the opinions. --RS

    1989 Viper concept idling

I wonder if the car has ever moved faster than 20 mph. Most concepts are only built to do 40 tops! --RS

    Why would anyone do this?

Monday we find out who is faster at Laguna Seca, ZR1 or Gen V

Why else? TO. SELL. MAGAZINES. They, like the post office, are getting killed thanks to the internet. If there's a juicy enough story to write, they will write it, publish it and sell it. You really think a story about a 2013 Caravan is going to entice someone to buy a copy? NO. Otherwise this...

How to make the Gen V faster...

HERE, I figured it out... Just add this into the tank after you take delivery. It has habanero peppers, I'm sure that'll give it the kick in the ass it needs right? :rolaugh: $8 for one bottle, makes you wonder if Viper Tax is included too. :omg: --RS

Mini Gen V In the Works?

None of this makes sense, so I'm going to call shenanigans on this one... SRT is a tiny brand. There is one car, two models. SRT, the nameplate, is on the 300, Charger, Challenger and Grand Cherokee. If the plan to save Dodge's EPA was to move Viper to SRT as a brand, then there is no need for...

    What a shame...

Tell them they are full of ****. I've seen more italians doing straight lines and bonzai highway runs just as much as any car out there if not more. It's a straight line car to them cause their clutches have notorious history for breaking and god forbid one dare comes with a gated shifter...

Made it on the cover of Viper magazine...

Congrats. That shot was mine. Myself, Tim, Chris and Katharine filled the magazine with photos from VOI. First time I've made it into a publication too! So I will be buying extra copies. --RS

Damn, wish I had seen this sooner! I went up that way this morning. Saw Tax Dr's Enzo on 287. Was with the MINI group doing a toy drive to the Audrey Hepburn house. --RS

Interesting, a blue oval guy driving a bowtie and a mopar. Being that it's Motor Trend it's going to favor the Chevy. --RS
