    I just recieved an email today for a september online car purchase deal. 0.49% up to 48 months 0.99% up to 60 months I think its only for new purchases of new/used cars, but if anyone else out there is trying to make a purchase, it seems like a good deal.

    hard top for a gen 3????

    There is one in New York Craigslist for like $1100. The guy said its for a 2007, so my guess is he picked it up used and is not very familiar with vipers. I would love to pick it up, but I have busted my viper mod money this year. I also agree that they look sweet with a hardtop on them.

    After exhaust is filter and larger throttek

    +1 on the tune. I did cat-back exhaust, cat delete pipe, green air filters and didn't really feel a difference. A couple months later I did a SCT tuner and it really settled the car down. Much smoother and it gets rid of that stupid skip shift light.

    If you do some searching, there is a couple good threads on this. It seems that if you are on a budget, springs and caps will give you around 1.25", springs alone will give around 1". If money isn't an issue, motons or something like that are fully adjustable and the car handles very well.

    I am running the 2.5" magnaflow system with no cats and there is a horrible drone from 1100-1500RPM. I picked up the system used for a great deal so I can't really complain. Down the road I want to do a full bellanger system, but in the time being, I will just deal with the drone.

    I think the factory alarm is sufficiant unless you have some high end audio equipment. How about investing in lojack? Its about $700 or so and allows you to track the car if stolen.

    Penfed is a pretty good bank to work with. I took the advise of other members here and went with Penfed for my load and can't be happier. I only have 2.5% but still can't complain.
