If one buys a new Gen.5,you better get it at a fire sale price,as you are sooo stuck with it...Just wait another year when their are still hundreds of 13/14s sitting in showrooms,think you see price drops now.... My Dealership No Longer Servicing Gen 5
I hope you are not talking about University Dodge. The previous Service Manager was excellent(Gone Now/Own Shop/Friend) and the tect that was their was outstanding.They did all the work on my 3 Vipers and they Tect.(Think name is Robert) was fanatic. Just saying, weather Dodge did not provide a Gen.5 or MT did not invite a Gen.5,a TA should have been in this test as the TA is revised over that issued Gen.5 that was in the first test.The results could have/would have helped the Gen.5 reputation with regular magazine reading people. 2014 C&D VIR Lightning Lap Results...Viper TA delivers!
With this price adjustment,the Vipers are priced just were they need to be now.The car it self is outstanding(esp TAS).Some future updating and the Snake should be fine.- FLL-B/W-GTS

Two very completive machines (TA/991 TS) for sure on the Road Course(MPH Straights).If ya ever get down to South Florida,I would definitely roll around the track with ya in the 991 Turbo S.Couple of buddies of mine have Gen.5/Vipers,but I can not get them to the road race track( No Way will...- FLL-B/W-GTS

In 1996 had a new 96 RT 10 and 97 had a new 97 B/W GTS.Now those were Vipers,nothing out ran them,local South Fl.VCA was outstanding,raced,parties,road trips.beers and the fine women were attracted to the Vipers.Most important,NO ONE,ever, in person or on the internet ever talked any shixxx...- FLL-B/W-GTS

The Gen.5 TA Vipers are the baddest/best Vipers ever made.Period..SRT and the greedy dealers wounded the Snake very bad..Dodge can fix this situation,but the Snake needs to be completely brought up to todays HP Cars standards,not just wings,paint and a 5Hp Bump..This is insulting....- FLL-B/W-GTS

Possible 2016 Supercharged
As the facts now show,Dodge is not going to fill any of the dreamers fantasies (Superchargers,Wow HP.etc.) with the Gen 5 Viper.So,the only solution is to own a Gen.5 TA for your track car and a Hellcat Challenger or Charger for your Test and Tune Quarter mile destroyer.. Agreed, forget that old shifting thing. Super fast shifting ,high tect and boosted cars are the future.The new Z06 will be a quarter mile and track monster at bargain price . Put sticky tires on a Turbo S,it will be close run with a TA,for sure...Their was a new Z 28 their,it will hang in the corners,but the the Turbo S just walks away from the new Z28s on the straights and the Z can not catch it after that.But,the new Zs are are nice car for cheap money...- FLL-B/W-GTS
