I agree the former CEO of SRT did the best he could and is a good guy. Their is a big learning curve learning to drive the beast, but it is fun...Must respect it and make sure you are point straight and have a lot of DRY road or it will bite you big time... It is a scary car to drive and it demands the driver attention all the time...Again Fun...- FLL-B/W-GTS

Emericr I concur completely with your statement. Yes,the Gen.5 pulls very well above 4000 RPM(Done It),the problem is that the Gen 5.is not anywhere near the mentioned new HP cars on the street or drag strip from the dig.Viper owners are use to being dominant any were they go with their Snake...- FLL-B/W-GTS

So why does all the other car manufactures have all this money to redesign their new high performance cars( Vettes,Ford,Porsche,Lambo,Mclaren ,GTRs etc.) and SRT can not redesign a Viper ?????(BS) I do not believe for a minute they do not have the money/engineering if they wished to proceed...- FLL-B/W-GTS

Exactly, I remember when I saw the first 97 Blue and White GTS(10/96)at the dealer in Hollywood.,I was stunned how gorgeous it was and bought it immediately.New design with a wow factor like that with modern high tect HP and DCT will save the Viper.... 10 Second 911 Turbo S Porsches and soon to be C7 Z06 DCT 10 Second Vettes have nothing to do with the issues with SRT and the Gen.5.My hopes are that SRT does what they need to do for future Gen.5s to join the regulars in the 10 second group.I will say, and yes it is positive that they appear...- FLL-B/W-GTS

So, put out the details when you have them and quit teasing your potential customers..SRT playing to many games with secret stuff,that is why they are in the situation they are in with the Gen.5s..Price,HP/Tq. Boxer 12,if you have a 997 or 991 Turbo S (PDK),it will run 10.60s to 10.90s@128/129 all day long bone stock.Just put it in Sport Plus,PSM OFF,Brake hard,full gas and wait for green light ,release brake fast and hold on...Easy... Go around the water at the track,no burn out required...- FLL-B/W-GTS

Rebate on ge 5 coming this week
As much a some may not want to believe it,the Gen.5s are way,way over priced.At the most it is worth is 90s loaded/80s Basic car..This close to 150,000.00 for a Dodge is why their are hundreds not selling.The Gen.5s are fine performance car,it is the greed of SRT and the dealers that are the...- FLL-B/W-GTS

Yes, that new Z28 is insane,I am surprised the TS even ran as close as it did to it on the track...Chev has their act together with that car and the new Z07 is going dominate ever thing with that amount of HP and a DCT....
